Before you read this review just scroll back up and book Suzanne’s space ❤️ she is an amazing host! One of the BEST! Spanish Wells didn’t disappoint 😊 everything is accessible with a golf cart, the water is clear, the beaches are breath taking, an excursion to go feed stingrays is a must, Papa’s Scoops at the end of the street was a nightly staple for ice cream, everyone is so friendly! Suzanne picked us up at the ferry, coordinated our taxi, ferry, & golf cart, then took us to the grocery store to get supplies, and to a couple shops to get clothing (our luggage didn’t make it until days after our arrival), she was just soooo kind and genuine! Suzanne even loaned us some of her clothing! Can’t wait to visit our new forever friend and this unforgettable island ❤️ ps her furry family members are so welcoming too!

Great value, private and comfortable right behind the evolving Romara Bay property. We really enjoyed ourselves! Studio suite was clean and the bed was comfy! We were very lucky to meet Tim the owner, who was a highlight!

My husband and I stayed at the Bird Cage for a quick wedding anniversary trip, and it was a wonderful experience. The Bird Cage was immaculate, with a modern and tastefully decorated interior. Although we spent most of our time indoors, the location was convenient, being just a short drive from Governor's Harbour, ATMs, shops, and more. Check-in was very smooth, and Solivia graciously allowed us to arrive early. She personalized our stay with a beautiful welcome message, wine, candles, and drinks in the fridge. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals at home. We felt so comfortable and relaxed that we didn’t want to leave. We would definitely recommend this place to couples looking for a relaxing and private getaway. You won't regret it! Thank you, Solivia; we will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful time at Marvin & Michael ‘s place.They are so warm hearted and let us to check out whenever we wanted to.The bathroom is new and clean and they prepared beach towels for us.Spanish wells is spectacular,we will definitely come back here again!

Out of our many travels throughout the Caribbean, this is the only place we have ever come back to twice. Lucia has the most beautiful garden on the island and the location is convenient to restaurants and groceries. Most importantly it’s a short walk to the beach! Lucia is a wonderful host, going above and beyond to make our stay successful. We can’t wait to come back again!

The unit is a one-room efficiency in a larger guest house/complex, but everything about the entire structure is impressive. From the layout of the room, the kitchen, the appliances/fixtures, etc., it's all sharp. The bed is comfortable, the shower is a beautiful enclosed stone/tile layout with hot water and good pressure. My first thought was that the whole building belonged in an architecture journal. Great views up top of both the Atlantic and the Sound/Bay, and the building is nestled in quiet area within a couple minutes drive to Governor's Harbor. John, the architect and builder, is on-site and makes himself very available for any needs. Well worth the money and the drive to GH. Would definitely return. For any remote workers considering visiting, the entire complex has a back-up generator which had to kick in a couple of times. Cell service is pretty strong when the wi-fi goes out. Huge plus. Not much to walk to as far as amenities, but you'll need a car in Eleuthera anyway.

The house was amazing. The view was wonderful. The steps to the water and taking a dip in the water were such a treat. We felt like we had Eleuthera all to ourselves. It was wonderful.

The outside space is beyond beautiful!! We spent each morning watching the sunrise and were visited by turtles nearly every morning. On calm days we snorkeled right off the dock and saw numerous types of fish, crabs and starfish. We had great adventures exploring the island and would always come back to watch the sunsets which are spectacular! Cody has floats, snorkel gear, beach chairs...basically anything you could need to enjoy the island. The beds are very comfortable and so are all the extra pillows. The kitchen is well stocked including some spices and condiments. We packed some food from home and were happy we did. This is a very special place and we are so grateful for our time spent at Cody's place.

We had an amazing time here. Walter is an amazing host and thought of things to make our stay comfortable. The house is very clean and laid out perfect for a family. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Very quiet and beautiful sunsets at Sunset Rock.

Just wow. I cannot say enough good things about Sungate, and host Marco. The location is perfect. The beach is a combination of miles of soft, nearly deserted sand, and incredible tide pools and shallow reefs for snorkeling just off shore. The home is incredible. Enough space for 14 people to live and sleep comfortably. It is beautifully decorated, with all the conveniences you would want, including fully equipped kitchens. And you won't find all the amenities at most resorts. A pool, a pool table, ping pong table, a theater room, dart board, and air hockey. Eleuthera is an island to explore, but we found it hard to leave the property because it had everything, including snorkel equipment, three kayaks, and a couple of hammocks. And then there is Marco. He is an incredibly responsive host. Got back to us on any question usually within minutes. If you are looking for a private getaway for a group of 10-14 people Sungate is the place. We will be back! Our stay at Mark's home was fantastic! Check-in was simple, and he had a golf cart waiting for us once we got off the Ferry. The home was beautiful, and Mark was an attentive host. My group of friends and I had an amazing time, and would definitely stay here next time we're in Spanish Wells!

Deborah was a wonderful host. Very responsive. The house is in an excellent location with water access when the ocean is calm and easy access to the town of governors harbor. The view of the ocean and sunsets is amazing!

We enjoyed Christmas at David’s lighthouse. Everything was as described in David’s listing. The home was beautiful and we could not have asked for more. You would be lucky if you find this listing available. For sure- off the grid relaxing vaca😊

I wish I could rate Jessica and Watercolor low to keep them to myself, but that is impossible. Best house, best location, best host - we had an amazing time and Jessica's assistance and input, no matter the question or concern, always steered us in the best direction. We could not have asked for a better experience on our first trip to the Bahamas - and Watercolor will be our first choice for all future visits, of which there will be many, I am sure.
