House vacation rentals in El Faro

It was literally living in a place close to heaven. It’s not only furnished with so much love, but also the attention to detail made it much more special. We were in awe upon our arrival, and found it hard to leave. We would like to recommend it to everyone, but it is so special, that we just might keep this as our best kept secret! From the moment we booked, our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. They offered excellent recommendations, answered our questions with warmth and patience, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Everything is within walking distance. The way the villa is situated allows you to wake up to the gentle embrace of sunlight streaming through the windows, and ending the day with golden sunsets was pure magic. It is absolutely breathtaking. The thoughtfulness throughout made it easy to settle in and feel completely at ease, as if we were staying with dear friends. A stay so extraordinary, you’ll cherish every moment and never want to leave.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at David's beautiful home. David was the perfect host- he picked us up at a pre-arranged location, was incredibly quick to respond to any questions, and was always warm and friendly. He even took the time to show us his other house, which looked just as fantastic. The house itself had everything we needed and more. It was fully equipped, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We truly had a great time and would love to come back again in the future. Thank you David, for making our stay so enjoyable.

Five stars are not enough to describe how extraordinary our stay with Alessandro was. The property is secluded, private, and offers you the intimacy to relax completely. The views are breathtaking. There's everything you need and more to have a great time with family or a group of friends. There's no self check-in - and that for a good reason. This villa deserves a proper walk-through and introduction by the host to enjoy it to its max potential. Alessandro is incredibly hospitable. He gave us such a friendly introduction, was really helpful throughout our stay, and the part we're most thankful for - offered us flexible check-in/out. Can't express enough what a good time we had, and how thankful we are. :) Once again, Alessandro, thank you so much. This trip turned out beyond everybody's expectations. Can't wait to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful house which has been thoughtfully refurbished and decorated! The house had everything we needed and everything was very well thought out. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing escape while still being in good reach of Velez-Malaga and Malaga itself by car. Our hosts were always very helpful, with excellent communication throughout. They took extra care to make sure that we were okay and had everything we needed during the Spain blackout which was very kind! We would happily come back to stay again!!

Bente has been a fantastic host. The Villa was beautiful and spacious with everything we needed as a family of 11! We cannot wait to return again! Mijas Costa is a charming place to visit. If you’re looking for a quiet get away this is the place for you. If you want to be out and about I would suggest hiring a car.

We were very happy during our stay. The host was always reachable if we had a problem or missing something. The place was nice. Maybe too big for 2 people. The location was perfect, 30 minutes with a car to Malaga and Marbella. Would definitely come again ! :)

Just returned from a weekend here with 7 other girls. Absolutely amazing villa. Extremely clean and the beds were very comfy. The outside and the pool was stunning. The open plan inside was also stunning. Taxi from Malaga airport was about 15 20 mins and a taxi from the into P Banus was anout 30 mins Would definitely recommend this villa.

Rosa’s house became our home away from home for the month of October 2024. It was perfectly placed to the train station, the bus station, as well as the beach and all the local cafes and restaurants. We easily journeyed to Malaga, Granada, Cadiz, Seville, Ronda and up the road to beautiful Mijas without needing a hire car. Access from and to the airport in Malaga was made easy via the train. We enjoyed many a beautiful evening relaxing in the private courtyard and appreciated the beautiful interior. Rosa was the perfect host, being very responsive when we reached out.

We were here several families together a total of 13 people and had a wonderful stay. Really enjoyed the fact that there were several houses on the property and that all the bedrooms had their own bathroom. Great view and lots of seating groups outside where you can gather, especially around the dining table for dinner. Large pool that could be heated for extra fee and it was worth the money since we were here in April. And so nice with jaccuzzi. The hosts Kamilla and Morten gave us good info ahead of time and responded quickly to any questions along the way. Recommended!

Wonderful stay in this charming house with a perfect location. Stephan was a great host, gave great help and was easy to communicate with. Lovely balconies for morning coffee and nice roof terrace for evening drinks. All of Marbella's Old Town just around the corner. We would be glad to come back!

My mom and sister had a wonderful time in the appartment . It was perfect for our needs, very comfortable and homey. Parking was available and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics. The patio is an awesome place to start the day with an outdoor breakfast or a nightcap. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway Patrycja

Stayed here for three nights and I can not find one thing wrong with it. Easy to find, spotlessly clean, the BEST location. Everything you need for a fabulous trip away. Thanks for having us, we will be back next year! X

Anna was responsive, pleasant and easy to deal with. The apartment/villa is on 1 level with 2 small bedrooms/2 bathrooms It was very clean with a lovely modern kitchen and comfortable lounge with a big TV. There is a slight view of the sea. The outside area is private and well equipped for eating. Apart from the weekend the area was quiet and peaceful and there is a decent supermarket within a 5 minute walk/2 minute drive Linen, towels, toilet paper, bin bags provided Slight negatives: the pool is very small; it was possible to hear the adjoining neighbours through the walls (although it did not disturb us); Google could not find the property (although Waze did); the street and parking space are very narrow - we had a small SUV (Seat Arona) and just manged to get in, anything larger would need to park around the corner; the door (which has no handle) needs to be pulled towards you, with the key, at the same time as turning the key to release the latch, before pushing the door open

We had a great time. The accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped. We took advantage of the location of this apartment to visit the area. The only downside is the terrace. It is beautiful and very large but the proximity to the highway makes it extremely noisy. It didn't bother us too much as we moved a lot but people who would like to enjoy the lohement all day might be disappointed.

Fantastic stay. Setting was wonderful, very quiet and everyone was very friendly. Secure pool for kids safety, walkable to local restaurants and beach. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay here - the accommodation is comfortable and generous and the kitchen well-stocked with basics. Our flight arrived quite late and Domini not only arranged for a taxi to pick us up but she was at the house when we arrived to welcome us and show us around. She checked in on us after a few days to make sure we were comfortable and happy and couldn't have been more helpful. Mijas Pueblo is a lovely little town, so pretty, and some great restuarants. We spent a lot of time on the balcony just relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. Highly recommended.

When we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the view of the valley and mountains. We very much appriciated the tranquility of the location. The terrace is large and the terraced garden is really beautiful. There are palms, olive, and fruit trees (orange and lemon). The casita is spacy for a couple, modern, well built and completely furnished. The final touch is made by the owner. Dawn and partner are very helpful if you have questions, but not at all intrusive. One small remark, if you hate narrow mountain roads you might not be pleased with the last kilometer to the casita. But you get used to it, as we did. We enjoyed our stay more than anywhere else!

This little place is perfect, very tidy, practical and has a gorgeous view. We loved it :-)

We wish we could give more than 5 stars. Our stay at The Casita was magical. The views are so beautiful and it was very special to be able to pick our own oranges from the tree each day. The accommodation is perfect, with plenty of spaces to sit either in the sun or shade. There were so many lovely little touches and it was wonderful to arrive and be greeted in person and to find a bottle of wine waiting for us. Mijas is within walking distance and we enjoyed being able to walk in to get food or drink or to have a walk along the city walls. Helene and Claudia were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome. We would definitely go back and stay again. We also loved getting to know their gorgeous dogs. We can't recommend The Casita, Helene or Claudia enough. Just wonderful.

We choose to stay here for the garden for our dog which is very secure and the location. This place had every thing we wanted and more and we look forward to returning next year

Our stay at this villa was absolutely perfect! The house was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly well-organized. It had everything we needed to feel at home, especially in the kitchen, which was fully equipped for cooking. The large TVs in every room, along with high-quality speakers in the living room, made our stay even more comfortable. The outdoor space was just as amazing—the terrace was a lovely spot to relax, and the hot tub with a sea view was a real highlight. The grill was a great addition for outdoor meals. The villa is located in a very peaceful area, and waking up to the sounds of birds made our mornings so refreshing. Parking was easy and accessible on the street. My girlfriend and I had the perfect getaway here, disconnecting from daily life and truly relaxing. Gor, the host, was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making everything smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended—we would love to come back!

We loved our stay at Daniela’s family home. It is very clean and in a great location for beaches, Marbella, and Grenada. We visited the Alhambra whilst there and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. A Spacious House in a quiet residential area supported by a fabulous host who can’t do enough for you. We will recommend this to our friends and family as a great place to stay in the Costa del Sol.
