The cottage is one of, if not the best we have stayed in. Quiet, wonderful views, very warm and comfortable. It is in an ideal location for exploring the area. Michelle provides a very friendly and efficient service - we (and our two dogs) would very much like to stay here again!

This was our second stay at Pen Y Maes Cottage and it was just as great as we remembered it. Such a beautiful, peaceful place to unwind and Maxine is the most helpful and welcoming host. We will be back again, no doubt!

Right from the start Pamela was very helpful and communicated well. We had a very peaceful few days here, everything was as described, comfy lounge and bedroom, well equipped kitchen and a hot shower. The local shops are a good walk away and uphill on the way back, we were quite lazy and used the car this time. We would definitely stay here again.

The Piggery is a gorgeous place to stay and so spacious for two people. The view is stunning - from the mountain ranges to the arc of the coastline. We saw a beautiful full moon at night and a murmuration of starlings during the day. The place is decorated to a beautiful standard and we had a lovely welcome pack on arrival with some goodies which we weren't expecting (but don't forget to bring staples with you like bread, milk, oil etc.). The gas fire was a nice treat to cosy up in front and play boardgames. We didn't go out much and really didn't mind considering it's so lovely!

We had a wonderful stay at Marilyn's accommodation in Pwllheli. We were welcomed on arrival, Marilyn had thoughtfully ensured we had tea/coffee/milk/eggs/bread and even some chocolate muffins! The accommodation was exactly as expected with lots of nice touches such as robes in the bathroom. It was less than 5 minutes from the beautiful beach, 2 minutes if you were quick, and the views from the beach were just gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will most definitely return. We had an amazing stay! The apartment was well-equipped and located in a fabulous spot. The views were incredible, and the hosts were very hospitable. We would highly recommend it—perfect for dog owners looking for a peaceful weekend away 😊

We arrived at the cottage while storm Ashley was trying to blow the lid off Wales so we hunkered down for the evening. The cottage is lovely. Modernised to a high standard and well equipped. The downstairs is spacious and the south facing conservatory gives expansive views to delight. The upstairs is comfortable but has limited space so you're better off leaving kit downstairs and just taking what you need for the night up to the bedroom. You can use the bunk bedroom for storage if there's only one or two staying. An air source heat pump provides a nice background temperature but if you've chilly weather during your stay there's a beautiful log burner and after a hard day walking or beachcombing there's nothing better to sit in front of it with a dram or two of excellent Welsh whiskey while gazing at the flames dreaming of what has been, what is, and what yet might be. A fantastic little cottage in a great location to explore the West coast of Wales. Adam was extremely helpful and recommended lots of places we would enjoy in the local area. We will definitely come and stay again!
