The house was large, with two lovely large bathrooms and good beds/mattresses. The kitchen was well equipped and with a good fireplace. The house is located with a beautiful view of a water and you see an old church at the end of the water. Lovely beautiful, peaceful and harmonious view. Nice hiking opportunities in the woods right on the other side of the road. Very nice little hike through the forest with irr green moss, and a lovely view of water, forest and sky at the top. If we had more time, we should have walked more along possibly around the water and looked at the cute Swedish living rooms and farms around the water. Staying in Kerstin's house is like living in a Swedish magazine photo spread. Everything is so lovely and so perfectly Swedish. We had a restful stay, listening to the crickets and cooking our own meals and admiring the flowers and fields and old churches. Kerstin was a very friendly host and communicated well. Would definitely recommend.

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

Well planned and very cozy cabin near the lake. The garden had plenty of room for activities for the kids. Henrik was very easily accessible when we had questions about directions and other things. We were there over a weekend but would have loved to stay longer!

Absolutely amazing!! The house is gorgeous and appointed with outstanding furniture and amenities. The setting on the hillside is truly amazing. We loved it!! I want to come back again.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in amazing surroundings. We made stops at the cabin on our way skiing. Super beautiful in the cabin and with winter wonderland and ice on the lake. But we also really wanted to experience it in the summer 😊

lovely cabin containing everything you need in a wonderful forest with a lake just a short walk away, we had a fantastic and relaxing time.

We were up and running so home was perfect as ours was 150 meters from the cabin we used the cabin for shared dining and some coziness in the evening I have asked Johan about a lot of things and have gotten answers in for a few minutes each he is a great host Only downside was that doors should be left open during food lichen due to smoke detector

Perfect accommodation for those who want to go up and fish around Mellerud for example. Only 30 meters to the boat ramp. High standard of the property itself.
