Vacation rentals in Edenderry

My friends and I couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome at Deirdre’s house. When we arrived, we were shown around the house and lovely garden area. The bedrooms were beautifully presented and there were homemade shortbread cookies on the bedside tables for us. We opted for the dining experience and there was a fantastic menu to choose from. The dining table was set up as it would be in a fine dining restaurant with little place names for each person - this was a gorgeous personal touch. The food was exceptional and Deirdre and her family couldn’t do enough for us and we felt really at home. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed a home cooked breakfast the next morning which was also fantastic. I would highly recommend Deirdre’s lovely home to anyone - it was an ideal spot and setting for the catch up we were looking for and I would come back again without hesitation.

It's rare to find an airbnb that's better than the pictures, but this home exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful, in an idyllic Irish countryside setting. It felt like we were in a movie set, with gorgeous green meadows, the blue lake and sheep, quiet surroundings, and a large home that is completely comfortable. The views out of every window were like paintings. The rooms are large and spacious, with nice beds and bedding for all. It was cosy and warm on the cold days when the weather was stormy, and the showers always had nice hot water. The kitchen is fully equipped and comfortably large, and wifi in every room made working here easy. Our family loved hiking the surrounding hills, playing at the lake, and even practicing tennis. The hosts are lovely people, always willing to help, and very responsive. We feel so fortunate to have found this place!! It was a perfect home base as we worked from here and then trekked out on day trips around Ireland. Thank you!

Cormac’s place is great for a stay in Ireland as a base to explore central or western Ireland. Parking for a car, great facilities in the kitchen for self catering and very warm for a winter day. Shower & bathroom facilities excellent and a real highlight of the property. He provided kitchen utensils, spices/ingredients, fresh towels aplenty and ample supplies of toiletries for us - it’s the little touches that were great. Cracking value for money also!

We enjoyed our stay here. It is a cozy place to spend peaceful time. Beautiful views and close to the Kildare village town. Breda and Liam were very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Ireland and want to enjoy its natural beauty. Thank you Breda and Liam for sharing your place with us.

Lynn was a lovely host. We really enjoyed our cosy stay and would recommend it to anyone in a heart beat! She had the lights on for us when we were arriving late to check in, very thoughtful and cosy!

What a beautiful and unique experience. The little town was so cute and quaint and it was the perfect setting for us to wrap up our stay in Ireland.

We felt like a king and queen for a night! A very unique air bnb in a beautiful peaceful pastoral setting. Kitchen was very clean and had all the necessities. We were very happy, cozy and comfortable. The view from the top is the icing on the cake!

Mona's Cottage offered everything we were looking for in conjunction with the reason we were in Kilbeggan. Bernadette and Barry were very attentive to details and making sure we were comfortable. We had a special request for a blender, which wasn't on the amenities list. Bernadette had one for us when we arrived. The special touch of milk and cookies upon arrival gave us a warm welcome. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

This is a beautiful house . Our only problem was finding it for the first time in the dark! Once that was sorted it was fabulous, spotlessly clean warm and cosy, Aidan had the fire lit which was so welcoming. We are a group of very 6 old friends and we will definitely stay here again.
