Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ecuador

We loved the place, mainly the view, close to restaurants, the mall and they offer several services included in the price such as the use of the pool and jacuzzi. Communication was very quick, which helped us a lot on the trip, very good hosts.

All very nice. It is next to Cameron's so you have access to some pools and other areas like games for children. Also to a private beach and restaurant. All very nice. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the club food. It's expensive and not at all good. Everything else is highly recommended

The place was as advertised. Great views looking over old town and the cathedral. it was the best stocked Air BnB we have had. including coffee stocked for us. bottled water and TP. and restocked throughout the month. internet on the 5G option was 100+mb. we enjoyed the place. the host was wonderful and quick to respond. we had 1 issue which was corrected right away.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Marina. It is in a great location. Short walk to the pier, restaurants, and shops. Close to the grocery store. Great view from the roof deck. Walkable to Tortuga Bay. Celso and Andrea were both responsive and communication was easy via Whats App. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We felt at home. We also recommend the travel guides next door - Guiding Galapagos. They were very organized and provided masks and fins for excursions. They walked us to the pier and made sure we got where we needed to go. They even looked out for us when we weren't on one of their tours. You can rent an underwater camera from them too. We had a wonderful time!

I truly enjoyed my stay at the beautiful place of Mercedes and Carlos. The surrounding nature is stunning, the house has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay, and the area feels very safe. Mercedes and Carlos are wonderful hosts — kind, attentive, and always ready to help. I would happily return!

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in Miryan's cabin. We loved it, so close to the center of the city yet one feels like one is in the country. Miryan was an amazing host. She brought us something almost every morning: eggs from her chickens, fruit or avocado from her trees, home made breads and freshly squeezed juices. My husband and I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, meeting new people and buying produce and the many family owned stands. The house is rustic, this is not the Ritz but if you want to truly experience Ecuadorian culture, this is the place. Miryan has three dogs that came by often to say hello. If you are afraid of dogs or just don't care for them, this is not a place for you. For us, it was a perfect 2 weeks.

Be ready to have all of your senses pampered. The view, the river, the house are just picture perfect. On top of that, the hosts are beyond awesome! Ecollacta is THE place to stay in the area.

Where I start to describe everything good about this house: -When starting by the host they do not reach us the words to describe the excellent quality of person he is, he contacted us ahead of time, he was always available to help us with any situation and he is someone very kind and was attentive to everything - The house is wonderful super comfortable, everything clean, there are houses that are totally independent and then there is this one, it is almost a block for those who stay here has a very nice backyard, side several areas to eat in family both indoor and outdoor, large bathrooms, very nice and large rooms, comfortable beds, has a complete security system, Jorge leaves you games to share with your family, a water bottle, toilet paper and extra towels, in short to describe it is perfect - the place is 15 minutes from downtown but with many things accessible and a bakery in front, we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at El Lugar! The location is fantastic, the rooms are well kept and receive great airflow. The property manager Danny was extremely friendly and well connected to the local townspeople. We felt right at home. One note for potential travelers is that, since the location is small and Ayampe in general is relatively remote, it could be difficult for hosts to accommodate special requests. Communicate early and be mindful

A beautiful spot to spend your vacation! The house is gorgeous, spotless, and well-maintained. My family and I loved the beachfront and our peaceful walks on the semi-private beach. The online pictures don’t do it justice – it’s even more stunning in person. Ricardo, the host, was incredibly helpful, offering great tips about the area and ensuring we had everything we needed. The house staff were also very kind and attentive. We'd absolutely love to return!

Great option to get away from routine !!

This place is so beautiful, colonial meets villa style. High ceilings, big dining table that fits a family of 12, the master bedroom boasts high ceilings and master bathroom with beautiful tile. The patio was my favorite part, beautiful, tropical plants, the iguanas! Yes! iguanas that come by to say hello but are harmless and the pool, I spent all day at the pool. My family really enjoyed the house. Thank you Amada and Sonia! Great Job!

Ximena and Charles were really great hosts. It was our first time visiting the Galapagos and they really made us feel welcomed. They organized everything we needed from the moment we arrived at the airport, helped us book tours, find restaurants, etc. The cottages are well stocked with breakfast, drinks and fresh fruit. It was really an excellent stay. We would happily stay here again.
