This beautiful home right on the beach is heaven. The sound of the ocean and views are incredible. The home is spacious and comfortable with everything you need with lots of personal touches. We loved our stay and will definitely return!

Best host ever, Mike is kind and very helpful. His places are clean, spacious with beautiful ocean views. But more than his places Mike himself is the best.

We had never stayed in an Airbnb property before and so had no idea what to expect. However, The Lilypad surpassed anything we could have imagined. The house itself was beautiful and much bigger than it seemed in the photos and Derrick and Margi are the perfect hosts. The house is spacious and very well equipped. Even the monkeys turned up to watch us eating lunch in the garden one day. It was like a wildlife documentary in reverse! We could not believe their generosity in taking our children to the airport at 5.30am after we left! If all Airbnb properties and hosts are all like this then we are hooked. What can I say except WOW! Started off the day watching the sun rise over the ocean while enjoys a wonderful cup of tea on the two chairs dedicated to Nono and Maxime. We could then walk down to Thompson Bay beach directly from the garden. When a day in the waves was over, a short walk up the steps to the outdoor shower by the pool for a quick dip then a quick braai on the amazing stainless steel braai by the pool. To end it all, going to sleep with the doors open listening to the waves crashing all night! And in the morning, Elizabeth was there to sort out our messy dishes and Russel washed off all the kids beach toys…. I can’t recommend the place enough and hope to be back next year. Mel’s place is beautiful and open. It’s great for kids as well. The beautiful and aesthetically pleasing home is also child friendly. Mel also has Nompilo who is there to help us with anything we needed and to ensure the place is clean. Having someone there made it easy for us if we had any questions. The driveway is steep so you need to be confident when driving there. The estate is beautiful and has lots of things to do for when traveling with kids. We really enjoyed ourselves there. the place had great views. the house was spacious and well equipped. candice was great help with a last minute booking and gave us come great recommendations. Will definately be visiting again. A nice, secluded space with a private beach for a relaxing time.

What a Truly 5 Star experience than my wife, daughter and I had at Kerry's place. The house is truly 5 Start yet the pricing is actually very reasonable for the value One receives. Kerry is proactive in her communication, very responsive to the guests requests and is very flexible. The house is always spotless due to the very helpful and diligent cleaning team. Definitely going back there soon!

We didn't get to meet Henno, and the person who was going to meet us was busy and sent someone else instead. The parking is difficult to get into. Thank goodness we had a small car. The accommodation is beautiful. Lovely views of the harbour and canals. We had DSTV so we could watch the rugby. The kitchen had a good selection of appliances. Bathrooms were clean. Loved the lounge suite and blankets on the couches were were cosy.

Ive been coming to Umhlanga for 30 years and Jacque's place is by the far the best Ive ever stayed in - spacious, clean, right on the beach. Truly amazing, thanks!

A literal slice of heaven. The sun rises right outside on the patio, the kitchen is graciously filled with helpful items and ammenities, its clean, accessible and safe- the Wifi is fast and the Netflix is pre logged in so you'll be sorted. We had some meetings and classes and the spot was perfect for that and leisure too. Literally our model of a perfect Airbnb.

We so enjoyed staying in the apartment. It has the most beautiful view, and is more spacious than the pictures show. Very clean, and had everything we needed. Shivek was responsive and helpful in answering my questions. We are greeted with the most generous basket of goodies. The size of the balcony was unexpected and was so wonderful to have our meals outside, also the area was surprisingly quiet. Security to the apartment was very good (once you got your biometrics sorted). Grocery shopping is right there and that worked well for us. I would recommend this apartment!!!

We had the most wonderful and relaxing time clamping in this quaint, creative and tranquil setting. The Butter Chicken is most definitely worth every penny.

We had a fantastic stay at Debs N Alan’s apartment. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. The host was super friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay. The neighborhood was charming and close to great restaurants. Highly recommend this Airbnb and would love to come back.
