Cottage in Inverfarigaig
4.82 out of 5 average rating, 141 reviewsThe Cottage on Loch Ness, with panoramic views.
What a wonderful week spent in a little piece of paradise tucked away on the shores of Lochness. Although the cottage is private and off the main roads you are so handy for the local shop at Foyers, the pub and coffee hut at Dores and only a further 20/25mins to Inverness. So much to explore and do. The cottage itself has everything you need for your stay and is so cozy & warm, especially after a day of exploring the forests right on the door step. The private beach made for the perfect spot for morning coffee as the sun came up and evening drinks as the sun set. Turan was such a thoughtful and extremely helpful host, even leaving me a birthday card on arrival along with the welcome package! Me and my husband were sad to leave and head back to reality, we hope to return sometime soon!

The cottage, whilst small, is actually more spacious than the photos suggest. A good sized galley kitchen with all white goods and utensils. A comfortable, cosy lounge. The bedroom is a good size with the bathroom ensuite. The bed is a double. Overall, a good size for a couple.

Cabin in Rosehall
4.89 out of 5 average rating, 70 reviewsLog cabin with amazing views
Booked a single night in this stunning location to experience log cabin life and it was brilliant! It is very much a rustic cabin but absolutely charming and with many more facilities than the standard bothy. The fire was lit in readiness for my arrival and despite -17 temperatures overnight and deep snow it was cosy and welcoming! If you are expecting a standard air b&b with and indoor shower and toilet and central heating then this is not for you but if you want a unique rustic experience in the most amazing location with a brilliant host and all the amenities you need then give this a go! Alexander was a fab host, we had car issues due to the extreme cold on checkout day and he came to help jump start the vehicle. He went above and beyond!

Hilary and Greame's cottage was a dream cottage to check-in to. We spent our christmas week with family in this beautiful cottage. This was our last holiday in Scotland before we leave for India. It certainly was the perfect holiday get away in highlands. Both Hilary & Greame are perfect hosts. They greeted us as soon as we arrived at their place and Hilary personally guided us through the entire cottage. The place was well equipped with all amenities. I was there with both my kids and really felt at home. The garden view is breath taking. Would love to come again whenever we arrive Scotland next ❤️😀
