La Orquidea which opened in May of 2005 is the only private guest house snuggled in the crater on the shores of Laguna de Apoyo. It has been designed as your "home away from home" with complete kitchen, private bath, living and dining areas. Balconies from both levels of the home provide spectacular views of the cleanest laguna in Nicaragua. The tranquil enviroment is home to countless migrating and indigenous birds. We hope you will enjoy your time relaxing here, and soaking up the sun, taking a hammock on a two hour ride to nowhere or hiking the crater your house sits in. Casa Tuani is a luxurious lakefront Villa on the shores of the Laguna de Apoyo natural reserve. Here you will enjoy the epitome of indoor-outdoor living and soak in the spectacular panoramic laguna views. The home is right on the lakes edge so you can easily swim in the thermal waters or take out one of our kayaks. The vacation retreat is fully appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay including a chef's kitchen, air-conditioned bedrooms, filtered water, barbeque and firepit.

Casita Mango is one of the two cabin we offer. It is located on the garden side with a nice partial view of the lake straight from your bed! We rent with A/C. Hot water and Smart Tv... everything you need to live long-term in full comfort while being in the jungle far far away from the city blues. This is a home away from home, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom semi detached house with a shared pool and laundry services. (There are 2 separate rental homes on the same area of land). There is a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge area with comfortable seating, 300mbps internet throughout, 130+ Claro tv channels and a smart tv. Situated in central Catarina you are 2 minutes walk from the mirador and the local bars and restaurants. This is one of Nicaragua’s best kept secrets.

Double bungalow with pool access

Your guest house is located in the small-scale bungalow park Villas Vista Masaya with fantastic views of the crater lake Masaya, just like the bungalow Chaperno. The double bungalow is a studio and suitable for singles and couples. There is a stable WiFi connection for digital nomads. It is quiet here, and the climate is pleasant. Own pets are not allowed. 1.5 km away is the town of Masatepe, where there is a supermarket and a daily market for fruits and vegetables.

Carpe Diem, European comfort in tropical setting

A beautiful, comfortable, clean, spacious, modern house in an amazing natural setting. Feels secluded but you are near to town and near many touristical attractions. As the house is located at +550 mts above sea level. It has the perfect climate. Chilly at night (you might want to use thin blanket and wear a vest) and during the day you are perfectly of in shorts and a t-shirts without being hot or cold ( about 22 degrees Celsius or 72 Fahrenheit).

Casa Calala is born out of love for the beautiful city Granada and our passion for hospitality. We want you to feel at home and safe while also giving you all the wonderful insides that the city and it's surroundings have to offer. NOTE: There are A/C units in all of the rooms but because electricity costs are extremely high in Nicaragua (the highest in Central America) their use comes with an extra cost of US$ 6 per night per unit.

Casa Abierta is safe & secluded - just 20 min. from Managua but feels far from the heat and noise. Deck has gorgeous views & house is open plan w/ loft, kitchen, living/bedroom. Lots of screens for airflow, so it's very cool. Accessible to Managua in charming rural village next to forest walks on trails with views & wood-fired hot tub. *Note: Our place is extra peaceful because we *do not* have WiFi!
