In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

With a beautiful landscape with forests, meadows and a stork's nest right next to your home, this is an unforgettable experience. In the beautiful garden surrounded by nature, you will completely relax. The characteristic Reestdal loft has all the comforts, including a wonderful hot tub. This house can be rented on a weekly, midweek and weekend basis, and is located on hiking and biking routes.

Woodland bungalow with lots of privacy

Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not in a holiday park and has its own entrance to the Tilweg. In 2018 it was completely renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best part is that it is in the middle of the trees. All freedom on our own grounds of 1100m2! From the cottage you can walk into the woods in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

In an oasis of peace, hidden among greenery in a very nice large garden, with lovely covered seating area stands this "Lovely Quiet Cottage". Proximity to Diever and Dwingeloo. The bungalow was completely renovated in 2019 and equipped with cozy open kitchen, beautiful new bathroom with walk-in shower and bedrooms with good box spring beds. Cozy wood-burning stove. Excellent base for wonderful cycling and hiking trips. As well as business overnight stays, as you are a 5-minute drive from the A-7 towards various major cities. We provide a luxurious, varied breakfast, using fresh local products and of course the fresh free-range eggs from our own chickens

Atmospheric studio located on agricultural estate

On a small-scale arable farm, this cozy studio with its own entrance is located. The studio includes a full kitchen, dining table, cozy sitting area and a double bed. A baby crib can be placed on request. The bathroom has a bathtub, shower and sink. There is a separate toilet. Outside, there is a lovely seating area. A wonderful base to relax and unwind! There are also plenty of activities nearby. For example, Wildlands Adventure Zoo is 5 km away.

Our lovely house is an old renovated farm, with all the comfort of today. The holidayhome de Drentse Hooglander has its own entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with tv( netflix), a private garden and terrace. You'll find us in Eemster, just 3km from Dwingeloo, at a quiet road nearby 3 large naturereserves. Biketours and hikes starts from the house. Aldo and i hope to see and welcome you!

In the hamlet of Ruinen, you will find this tastefully renovated field barn. The barn house is located at the back on a plot of 1400 m2 and offers plenty of privacy. The guest house is located a stone's throw away from the brink and the Dwingelderveld National Park. The interior has been carefully designed based on comfort and atmosphere. Very much like 'coming home'

Welcome! Bed &Breakfast 'Mekelermeer' is a nice stay for 2 persons included breakfast. ckeck in is after 14.00 h. check out is round 12.00 h. 2 nights is the minimum stay. The interior is very cosy. You have a marvellous vue over garden and fields. There is hardly any traffic. Only some farmer business. A perfect place to 'slow down' .
