Like; Indulge in a cozy terrace in e.g. Borger, Rolde and Grolloo(bleus city), various open-air museums. Westerbork memory center, or WILDLANDS in Emmen. Close to the Tree Crown Trail, the beautiful swimming lake the Nije Hemelriek and climbing park "Joy Time" . A little more away: Drouwenerzand amusement park.

Three national parks within a 10-30 min drive and lots of options to go on a walk or a run right outside the camp ground. Right next door are Museum de Proefkolonie (UNESCO), Zeemuseum Miramar and the Museum of False Art. Hunebedden are within driving/biking distance. There is a lot of peace and space in this unique place. Guests describe it as a mini paradise! This four-person chalet is on the edge of the forest with almost continuous flute concerts. Those who love the outdoors are absolutely in the right place here! The chalet is cozy and has a large veranda with wood stove. You are welcome in log cabin de Merel at our cozy small Estate Camping near National Park Dwingelderveld and Weerribben-Wieden.
