Very good stay at Colette's home who was responsive in all of our requests. Shower room level there was not enough pressure but this is I think it is beyond the control of our host. The nights are sometimes a little cool at this time, it would have been nice to have a blanket available in the cabinets. Colette's place is in every way in line with the photos, it is quiet and felt safe. Thanks Colette for your kindness and responsiveness to each of my requests.

I had a very good experience at Marius’s place. The apartment is very well located - within walking distance of many restaurants, the Zepol bakery/shop, and short rides to night life. The Co-host (Rafael) is very responsive and resourceful. He helped me secure a local driver, and provided significant guidance on local administrative stuff. He also made good suggestions on local restaurants, stores, bars, etc. I highly recommend this appartement and the host.

Loved it so much that we considered changing our travel plans and staying longer. Marie-Anne's place is exactly as you see in the photos. Its fabulously curated décor and amenities really showcase the local Sàwà culture in a manner that's as gorgeous as it's practical. You can tell a lot of thought went into it! Superbly located in a safe and very central part of town. A special shout-out to the awesome management team too!

Scandinavian feeling safe Being Home

As a single traveler i always first think about my security, safety and calmness. This place have them all, not city center located but in a good location. You get a chance to experience douala from local point of view. The host also provided on demand, secure way of transportation at anytime and for every place. I was picked at the airport and drop off at the airport, i also use the service for city shopping and touristy travel between douala and limbe. I could also order some local dishes and the staff made it for me. The place have security guards night and day time. The place itself is really good designs, you will not believe from the inside you are still in Cameroon. Thank you Yannick for providing a place with such high standards and a great service at an affordable price. For sure i will be returning 🤗
