We loved staying so close to nature! We spend almost two weeks here. It’s situated right on the edge of the Udawatta sanctuary, so monkeys visited us quite a few times which was nice to see! It’s not far from the city but when we went food shopping we took the tuktuk back and it cost us around 200 LKR. So if you want something private, calm but also walkable to the centre, this is it. Just mind that it’s close to the forrest and not much light goes in through the trees. But on the other hand the temperature in the apartment was nice due to the location. There’s no need for AC but there’s a fan if you need it. The kitchen has some amenities like rice cooker and smoothie maker. But it could maybe use a bit more cutlery like a new wooden spoon, but things like pan and pots were really good. The WiFi was perfect, no problem with that.

Fazly is truely an exceptional host who went above and beyond throughout our stay. The accomodation was spotless, and those balcony views just stunning. We ate delicious breakfast and dinner made by his wife on the balcony which saved us having to go out. We were really made to feel at home, more than any Airbnb previously visited. 10 out of 10, if you are visiting Kandy look nowhere else.

I stayed at Riverside for 3 weeks and it was a great stay. The apartment is situated a few km out of Kandy in a small village, which is great as you get to experience real Sri Lankan life, I found the villagers very friendly, often stopping to chat to me. The bus to Kandy is just 10 mins walk away. The apartment is lovely, very spacious and with a wonderful large balcony perfect for eating and working. There's an outside plug so you can plug in your laptop. Hiran and family are lovely, Hiran is happy to help with any problems and the breakfast cooked by his wife is delicious and different most days. I'd definitely recommend this apartment and I'd stay again also being a solo woman traveller I felt safe at all times.

We rented this place for 2 weeks and it was amazing. Hosts were really helpful and friendly. Place is very clean and all interior and furnitures were very comfortable. Situated in a very clam place perfect for long holiday with family

A great apartment within easy walking distance of the lake and temple. The hosts were super friendly, and the accommodation was very clean—we felt right at home and spontaneously extended our stay! Due to the thin Styrofoam gaps at the top of the walls, we occasionally heard some noise from traffic, monkeys, or between our own rooms. That said, we had no issues with mosquitoes or cold air, and we would happily book another stay with Lakmal and his wife!

This place had an amazing view of the city and was around a 20 minute tuk tuk ride to the city center. There was a super market at the bottom of the road, and food options nearby. The road that it sits on was a little steep but the tuk tuks can get you up there if needed. The place itself was beautiful and very clean. Would recommend.

The house is beautiful, inside the nature, so peaceful and welcoming. Nilanthi took care of us every moment from our late arrival to our health. Thank you so much for ❤️

Clarence's place is just wonderful! It is very spacious, airy, light, comfy and beautiful. All our family enjoyed staying at Clarence. He is a great host, always responding quick and making the best to please his guests. The other members of Clarence's family must be mentioned too. They all are very polite, friendly and hospitable. The balcony, which better be called a terrace, is huge and the view is stunning. Everything is great, highly recommended for families and people who prefer tranquility over a busy city. To call a taxi we used "pick me" app. It is very cheap and useful.

We had a really nice experience in this AirBnB. The owner and his brother were really kind and helpful! It’s even bigger than on the photos and has a nice view and very calm. You should know that there can be some insects like ants or mosquitos since it is directly surrounded by nature, which was no problem for us :)

Hashitha was a perfect host. Check in was quick and professional, but also personable. My host was in easy reach, if needed, but I was allowed my privacy. The whole experience was brilliantly enhanced, by being able to sit on the veranda and take in the fabulous gardens. All in all an experience to hold fond memories of.

The place is very spacious, clean and not to forget the amazing, expansive view. The Garden area is refreshing. The best part of the stay has to be the Host Achala and his lovely family. They made us feel at home, helped us with all our queries, and took care of all our needs. It was an unforgettable stay. Will definitely come back

Upul is a very nice and helpful host. The view is a dream! The place is very large (bigger than the pictures) and perfect for 4 people. The furniture is more modern than you are used to in Sri Lanka. Upul even provided us with his washing machine. We felt very comfortable and would have liked to have stayed longer. Ambuluwawa Tower is around 10 minutes (Tultuk). Travelers with a tuktuk we would recommend not parking the tultuk at the top of the property, unless you are already very experienced. We just got up in the rain. It goes up quite steep mountain. It's better with a mopet or car. We really enjoyed it. We would definitely book the place again! 🙂
