We stayed with 3 adults and two toddlers and the space was completely sufficient. There was also enough board game material available on rainy days and the children still got a lot of painting utensils from Marieke. The kids were very happy about that. Outside in the garden it was very idyllic and in the summer it was certainly nice to sit outside by the pond comfortably in the evening. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. we lacked nothing. The communication with Marieke was great. She was always very accessible and proactively suggested activities. All around a very successful week :) Thank you very much for that.

We had a great stay. Everything was overwhelming. The location, the reception, the tranquility, the surroundings, the beautiful swimming pool, the luxury and pleasant house was really equipped with everything, the delicious sugar bread incl. cream butter. We will definitely come back. What a enjoyment! Top!

The bungalow park is large, but due to the very large vegetation, you have privacy and it is quiet. You are within a hundred meters in the forest where you can walk extensively on the many paths. The sand drift is beautiful and large. The chalet is spacious enough for a family. The heating and hot water supply is fine. Beds made, good and clean mattresses. Kitchen is complete, even with some basic spices present. A paper bag with coffee, tea and biscuits; dish soap and new dishcloth. Had a very pleasant stay.

This is a beautiful airbnb in a forested location; peaceful and quiet. There is ample seating outside to enjoy the natural surroundings. It’s a very charming place to stay; we loved it!

What a beautiful, restful place to relax and escape from the hustle of King's Day! It was wonderful to watch the birds from the comfy sofa and wake up to the orchestra of birds. The sauna was the perfect way to end the day - and then cool off in the garden and stare at the stars. We will definitely come back!

With a group of friends of 5 people, we stayed three nights in this AirBnB on a small-scale park. There were few other guests in the park, so we could enjoy the nice jacuzzi and garden. Unfortunately, for the (unheated) pool, the temperature outside was just a bit too cold. Inside is a lot of space, the cottage is much larger in terms of seating space than for 5-6 people. The beds (a total of 6 sleeping places) were excellent. With two refrigerators, six burners (gas stove) and a spacious dishwasher, the kitchen was also great, although unfortunately there was no towel or tea towel available to dry the hands and small dishes. It is also nice that there are two toilets (one of which is separate), but the door to the bathroom with toilet cannot be locked and does not close completely. Arrival is fine, with some information from the host in advance via the app and on site instructions to get to the right cottage at the small bungalow park. All in all a great stay in a nice area!

Last weekend I had an unforgettable stay with friends in a beautiful house surrounded by nature. The house was spacious and comfortable, ideal for our group. The area offered plenty of opportunities for relaxation and adventure, with beautiful walks and a visit to a charming village. It was a perfect weekend to enjoy and recharge together, and we look forward to coming back again.

A beautiful bungalow in the middle of the nature reserve. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The forest right outside the door offers many opportunities for walking. The cozy house offers everything you need and the hosts are always responsive. Communication was hassle-free and very friendly. Thanks, Piet and Anja, for the hospitality!

We had a wonderful time at Ton and Lizette’s place. The house and surroundings were even nicer than the photos. The house had everything we needed for a weekend away. They even included a few dog treats to also welcome our dog. He really lived his best life exploring outside. We felt relaxed and enjoyed taking walks in nature. The bed was so comfortable with the adjustable settings and reading lamps. We were sad to leave, but we look forward to going back!

I can’t recommend this place enough!!! The home is absolutely beautiful, with so many antique details from the furniture to the paintings to the light switches. Everything about it felt right and it is truly a work of art. We loved the quiet, peaceful setting and it was so fun to watch the horses run past our window and walk over to pet them. Johannes was a wonderful host!! We had a private entrance to our guesthouse so we didn’t see him a lot, but whenever we did he was friendly and very helpful and hospitable. He also responded right away to the questions that I messaged him. This place is a great value with your very own washer and dryer hidden behind cabinet doors in the front foyer and laundry soap above behind the lovely stained glass window cabinet, and several nice bikes in the beautiful red brick barn that you can borrow whenever you want! We went on a long bike ride to various towns, such as Dokkum. Our favorite day trip was taking the boat to the beautiful island of Ameland!

If you want a weekend away in the Netherlands (in our case) and also with 2 adults and 4 children, you pay the main price everywhere for a place to stay. For this house, it was just fun and completely for the luxury we got in return, but also that there was also something left to do some things with the children next to the stay alone. And the contact was very nice, understanding and with quick responses. Was a weekend what felt like a week.

The location of the house is unique. This makes it super quiet. The garden is shaded by the tall trees, which is an advantage in the middle of summer. In the spring, it is cooler during the day as a result. This did not affect our stay. We enjoyed the time very much.

We happened to be in a vacation home in the same park, which was also beautifully located, but the cabin in the woods is really a highlight: The forest is directly adjacent to the garden, so that you not only have a lot of privacy but the atmosphere directly provides pure relaxation (view from the hot tub and the sauna directly into the forest). The amenities were modern and thoughtful. The bathroom and the open living-dining area were other highlights. The landlords responded quickly to questions. We would definitely come back!

We stayed with 5 friends between the ages of 25 - 30 for a long weekend in this beautiful house. The house exactly matches the description and pictures, the two house owners were very kind and accommodating without being intrusive. They even provided us with eggs from their own chickens. The house is situated in a village with a small supermarket and a drugstore and a small "vending machine village shop", everything is within walking distance. By car, several larger villages, with a variety of different restaurants, sights and various activities, can be reached in less than half an hour. Our goal was to have a nice time with our friends and our expectations were more than met, we highly recommend the place to anyone! Thanks for the stay!

We enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic time in Midwolde. It was easy to start our bike tours from here. The sauna and all other amenities were outstanding! A very tasteful intererior design. The beds were so comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay!

Great house, lovingly decorated and optimal location close to the center. Good restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. Thought that we were short of coffee beans, made contact and within a very short time a young man stood at the front door with the beans. Great service.

Great place, very quiet, clean and self check-in. Perfect for a good night's sleep as a couple with the necessary comfort.
