Nice location to discover the region. Beautiful house with wonderful amenities such as air conditioning (also in bedrooms) wood stove, projectors and jacuzzi. Everything available such as washing and drying machine, iron, bicycles, etc.

The stay at Casa Liesy was great! We felt very comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy. The amenities were great. We particularly liked Andrea's friendly welcome. The accommodation is located directly on numerous hiking trails and within walking distance of several very good restaurants. We will be happy to come back and can fully recommend the accommodation!

It was a nice stay in the upper apartment with a beautiful view of the dam. The furniture and furnishings are well pictured, you get what is shown. It was particularly nice to find towels, sheets and the basic equipment for the use of the kitchen and bathroom (hand soap, dishwasher tablets, fresh toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) and not have to bring these things yourself.

We stayed here for longer time and enjoyed every hour of it. You couldn't ask for better hosts than Birgit and Christoph and their four legged friend Molly . Am truly surprised how kind and helpful strangers can be. We arrived as strangers but leave as really close friends. And we are more than eager to return once more , till next meeting 👋

Arcaden, a strategic place to stay

Very neat and very nice property. We were here with 3 couples for hiking and cycling. The house was spotless and equipped with all the necessary comforts. Everything is here to make a pleasant and fun weekend. There are 3 bedrooms that are definitely ample for a weekend or midweek. In the hallway upstairs there is even room for clothes to store. The small things have also been thought of, such as clothes pegs, paper towels or tablets for the dishwasher. The house is located in a beautiful walking and cycling zone, close to several junctions. The garage is spacious and can be used to store several bicycles and recharge batteries. At the back of the house is a freight track. Despite this being one of the busiest in Belgium, we have hardly been bothered by this. The view of the railway bridge (Arcaden) is beautiful. Claire responded immediately to questions and gave tips when we asked for them. Perfect hostess !

Dirk’s place was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all our expectations! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Dirk himself was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the whole experience even better. He went out of his way to ensure we felt welcome and had all the information we needed. Beautiful large space, beautifully modernly furnished with a sauna (and billiards) as the icing on the cake. Nice that the sleeping space and bathroom are on a loft. Bed is very conformation. Around the house beautiful horses and nice dogs. In the area there are easy to do several walks in the beautiful hills, or a visit to Liège is easy to organize. Also, shops are within short distance. Very convenient, nice place conveniently located.

Super nice apartment, bigger than expected. Everything is nice and clean and complete. Friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful quiet place, but amenities (supermarket etc.) can all be reached within 10 minutes. Our toddler enjoyed themselves on the farm with the go-kart, trampoline and feeding the animals. We also did the treasure hunt, the forest trails were blubbery and sometimes difficult to pass, for us only extra fun and adventurous. But maybe a smaller scavenger hunt on the grounds of the farm itself is also a nice addition for the little ones or those who have difficulty walking.

Nice friendly hosts. We felt very comfortable and had a great time out. The apartment is spacious and ideal for a family with two kids. The separate entrance with private terrace and parking space gives you a lot of privacy. The offers in the area are recommended for families with children who enjoy hiking. You should have a car with you! Next time we'll bring bikes if the weather is better 😉
