El apartamento tenía todas las comodidades que ocupábamos. Altamente recomendados. De nuestra parte muy agradecidos con la anfitriona y esperamos regresar en un futuro próximo.

El Manglar is the perfect and best place to stay in Playa Grande. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the location is ideal, and the price is affordable. I love that this is a place owned and run by Ticos. It’s nice to stay at the beach in Costa Rica where the guests aren’t just tourists, but also nacionales. Gracias por todo!

My family and I stayed at La Palapa in January. The location is right on the beach with a private area for guests and each room has it's own outdoor sitting area. Sleeping to the sound of the ocean and waking up with that view was wonderful. The location is also a short walk to everything in town. The staff was very helpful. There are many beach restaurants around the hotel, all play loud music, which we didn't mind at all, but if you are looking for a quiet area, this is not it. We stayed in 2 different rooms. #6 had 2 large beds, comfortable for 4 people, but the room itself was very small. Room #3 is a larger room but the loft only had a smaller bed, which made it hard for 4 people. The bathrooms could use some remodeling. The breakfast that was included was terrible at the beach restaurant, but the little Italian place was good. I would stay here again.

Casa Aura is a great place to stay at on the main road and beachfront, without the pain of being in the middle of the touristy section

Nice and clean room, everything went smooth from arriving to checking out and everything in between. Good location for doing anything in Tamarindo and the pool is in a nice very relaxing area of the complex.Host was wonderful and very helpful.Definitely would come back

Really loved staying here. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and it was great to have good food available a few steps away. Other pluses we're the howler monkeys we could see from our room window, the great artistic touches all around the hotel, and of course, the proximity to great beaches.

This was the second apartment I stayed in the same apartment complex. This apartment was on the first floor all the way to the right. The apartment was nice and had everything I needed for an extra 3 day stay. The AC worked very well even in the 95* weather. The apartment is walkable to the downtown area, grocery store, gym, and restaurants. There’s a pool in the complex but didn’t use it. Also has laundry and dryer. The biggest complaint was that the internet didn’t work very well in this apartment. It only had 1 bar and often would drop off from the network. The Wi-Fi in the other apartment I was in was much better, and didn’t have that issue. This apartment is also next to another building who is also doing construction…. So there was a lot more construction noise than the other apartment during the day. At night it was quiet. However, with that said…. If you’re going to be out during the day, I think this apartment is a great place to stay due to its location, size, and price.

We loved Hotel Cantarana! It was the perfect spot to relax before our wedding in Playa Grande. Love the community and how walkable everything is. Loved the coffee shop, restaurant, and private path to the beach. Everyone was so friendly and helpful too. The bed was comfy! The pool was refreshing and very much needed. Really no complaints at all.

Great place and service! We reserved the entire place, 8 rooms for me and family from Guatemala, Mexico and Costa Rica and worked very well. The place is near the beach, in the middle of the forest (some animals visited us), and very nice. A large kitchen, comfortable rooms and nice pool. The personnel is very friendly!! Thank you for everything!!

Carlos y su madre Ruth son personas muy simpáticas. Estuvimos charlando un buen rato con ellos y nos contaron cosas interesantes sobre el país. El alojamiento es precioso, la habitación ideal, la cocina totalmente equipada y tiene una zona exterior que nos encantó, llena de frutales, hamacas y mesas con luces led para desayunar o cenar tranquilamente. Muy recomendado!

Ubicación cercana a bellas playas, el personal muy amigable y atento. El desayuno muy rico. La piscina increíble con bellos espacios para descansar y compartir. Sin ninguna duda regresaría y lo recomendaria

We had a great time at Zulu! Right in the middle of town and just a few steps from the beach, which was great for going to restaurants, supermarkets, bars and the perfect beach day. Staff was super friendly, helped us with recommendations nearby and tours. Fully recommend staying here, El Mercadito right next to the hotel had the nicest vibe, lots of greenery, live music and drinks and food were perfect. There’s also the cutest and most delicious bakery next to Zulu, that’s a must try! Thank you Zulu team for making our stay in Tamarindo so fun 🙂

Awesome villa with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The shared pool, surrounded by lush vegetation, was the highlight of our visit. The kids had a great time swimming when it was too hot outside. Since the pool is shared, it’s also a great way to meet people staying in neighboring villas. The villa is very close to Playa Grande beach, perfect for catching waves during the day and enjoying breathtaking sunsets in the evening. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, with even more just a short drive away. We initially had some doubts about visiting this area of Playa Grande due to reports of construction, but it was actually quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended for travelers looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo (which is just a short boat ride away) and enjoy a tranquility.

Mi familia y yo quedamos muy satisfechos, la casa amplia, en muy buen estado, muy limpias las sábanas y la casa en general. La ubicación de la casa excelente muy cerca de las playas más bonitas y de los centros comerciales. Súper recomendada, la atención de la dueña muy gentil y flexible.

Cute little hotel with beautiful amenities. The restaurant was delicious and breakfast options were a great bonus! We had the most relaxing time and highly recommend it to other guests!

Es un lugar muy tranquilo, me gustó mucho, tiene un lugar estratégico para visitar diferentes playas de la zona. Tamarindo queda a 10 minutos, ademas hay varios supermercados cerca. En especial el lugar es muy bonito, esta decorado con un gran cuidado, te hace sentir en un pequeño hotel. Muy recomendado.

Good location being so close to the coast. Host was very responsive. Very clean inside. There was a washer that was available to use which was great! It was a little difficult to find this AirBnB, luckily host was able to walk down driveway and lead us in the correct driveway.
