This chalet is within 6x4 and equipped with kitchen (with microwave oven and fridge), bathroom with shower and toilet, a cozy bedstee (1.40 m x 2.00 with a step) and sufficient storage space. The spacious, covered terrace of 6x3 meters (west) can easily be moved into the living room. You really sit at the (swimming)water of the clean lake. Easily accessible (20 km from Amsterdam, 15 from Utrecht, 3 from the A2) and with possible rental of bicycles, boat and sailboat. SEE "WHERE TO STAY" FOR INFO!

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

We bought & created this lovely place and split it into two houses and the barn next to it as a tiny conference place. I stayed a month while working in Amsterdam and I did not once feel like I would have preferred being closer to the city. I have to say that I was also very lucky with the weather, so it was usually not a problem at all for me to take my bike to and from work. Google maps says the trip should be 36 minutes, but because I am inexperienced, it rather took me 60-75 minutes. So, it is long, but it's quite an easy ride (and the scenery is beautiful!). I cannot say much about the appartement itself, because I stayed in a different one than the one advertised here (because they had friends staying in the one advertised), but I was quite happy with my stay all in all. Dana, Rotem and their kids are an adorable family and worked really hard to make sure that I felt welcomed and comfortable. But truly it is the bike ride from and to Amsterdam that is the ultimate reason you should book this studio. I was there in a warm spring and hope to come back in another warm season like that!
