House vacation rentals in Davao de Oro

Arno's place greatly exceeded our expectations. He communicated with me regularly leading up to our stay, and he was waiting for us when our ferry arrived at Samal to drive us to his place, which is a little off the beaten path (a very good thing). I don't think Arno's pictures fully do his place justice. It's lush, immaculately landscaped, and well planned out, with paths leading to each of the homes, swimming pool, and clubhouse. The house we stayed in (Mars, you'll notice a theme) was well stocked, spotless, and had cold AC in the bedrooms. Our young nephew really enjoyed the pool, and we enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We opted to have Arno's staff prepare our meals, which were all great. Arno's wife took us on a tour of the island, including waterfalls, Kaputian Beach, and the famous bat caves. Arno, his wife, and their staff were all wonderful and made us feel at home. I highly recommend Arno's place to anyone looking for a quiet escape from the city.

Really enjoyed my stay here in this Tagum City home. Very friendly person on site, in the home behind the home you stay in. Home host as well. Beautiful place and many food options close-by. Walk two minutes down a dirt road and tricycles passing by. Had a cook stove outside and bbq grill as well for charcoal. Having water there for my family was super nice as well. Thanks again

We had a pleasant holiday in Joan's house. The apartment is very nice, the kitchenette equipped with pots and appliances. The larger bedroom is very spacious, bright and quiet. The view from the balcony is very beautiful, you can see the sea which is not very far away and beautiful tropical vegetation. The swimming pool is not very large but is perfect for spending pleasant and refreshing moments. Joan, our host, is very nice and above all very helpful and attentive to the needs of her guests. We will definitely return to Samal to Joan's house.

If you’re looking for a private pool on Samal island, this is the perfect place! Clean and spacious, it can nicely fit 10 people and matched greatly the Airbnb description. Federico was also very responsive and great host. Nearest restaurant is probably 800 meters away and closes at 8pm so best to bring your own food if you don’t have your own transportation on the island. Overall it was a relaxing stay!

We enjoyed the place a lot ! It is really big and very comfortable. The location is also really good as it is close to main road and easily accessible. We would definitely if we have to stay in Samal again!

We stayed at Eunice's place for a week, and I would come back again. The house is clean, spacious, has all available amenities, is close to the town, and is quiet. She's very responsive; checking in and out was smooth. Highly recommended.

The host was easy to talk to. Caretakers we're very hospitable. Place is very cozy and clean. Will surely come back.

Amacan House is the perfect staycation spot in Samal. The place is clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything you need. It has a cozy, homey vibe that makes you want to stay even longer. The hosts, Dianne and Joemer, are fantastic—so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They respond promptly to any queries and even went above and beyond as tour guides, showing us the hidden gems of Samal. There's so much to explore—it was truly an amazing experience! Thank you, Dianne and Joemer, for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely choose Amacan House again on our next visit. Not only is the place wonderful, but you both are truly exceptional hosts!

Loved how the host gave clear instructions and how she communicates well with us. Clean house and strong Wi-Fi, which was really important for us as remote workers. Lastly, we loved how friendly and how they were quick to respond to our inquiries.

Nerie and her husband assisted us well. They are both kind and very responsive. We highly recommend their place and will definitely come back if ever we need a place in Tagum.

The place was spacious and has a private parking lot. Jane’s place is safe and comfortable the problem is only one room has AC and there’s no towels provided. I ended up up going to the mall to buy a towels for my family. The house wasn’t ready for check-in once we arrived. Which was disappointing!

This place was perfect for our family reunion, we were able to enjoy the beaches of Samal island and then come back to a private and peaceful home! Lydia communicated well and and catered to all our needs. Definitely recommend for big groups!

Adam was very responsive and accommodating for my family and I during our stay in Tagum. The home is very spacious with everything that we needed and the care taker was kind and friendly. The area is busy like any other city but not as busy as the main areas where the malls are. And with the home being enclosed with a wall and gate you get a sense of privacy. Tagum is a great center point for exploring the east side of Mindanao. You can take days trips to the south and visit Mati, or go up north and see the enchanted river. All under a tank of gas. I would stay at Adam’s place again.

it's our 2nd time here in this cozy house,they have there own solar panels Incase there's a sudden brown out. Very accommodating and responsive as well .

The place is perfect especially for those looking for a quiet getaway. It’s also an ideal location for large groups or families who prefer separate rooms, as it offers four bedrooms. My family truly enjoyed our stay and we felt like at home away from home. I would also like to highlight Ate Genlove, who was very accomodating and friendly. We will definitely want to return to this place on our next trip to Samal.
