This is the “Kongsuhni Wall Stove House” that my father, who was introduced in the EBS Architecture Inquiry House, built himself. It is a harmonious wooden two-story house with a high-rise two-story attic, a cute front yard, and a charming rural backyard. 🏡 It is the prettiest house in the village with a window that overlooks the sky above the high roof and a 10-year-old cherry tree in the yard. We only accept reservations for up to 6 people. This place is a 10-minute walk from the Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm, and in front of the pension, there is the National Forest of Korea, the best trekking course in Korea. In winter, it snows a lot, so you can see the wonderful snowy scenery. It takes about 8 minutes by car to get to Yongpyeong Ski Resort. There is a Hoenggye Hanaro Mart 7 minutes away by car from the pension, and a convenience store 3 minutes away by car. It takes about 25 minutes to get to Gangneung. Take a break with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Idle days

Relax with your family in this tranquil and private home. The 23-pyeong wooden house is fully equipped with amenities. We have prepared a spring water purifier and a Kuchen rice cooker (delicious rice provided). There are Hwayang Valley, Seolunsan Mountain, Gongrim Temple, and mountain mak in the nearby street, and there are Nonghyup, supermarkets, Cheongcheon Traditional Market, and restaurants where you can have delicious meals within 5 minutes.
