Rose Cottage is the perfect escape for anyone looking to truly get away. Attached to a Norman castle and just steps from wild, windswept fields, you can hear the crashing of the waves from the ocean when the tide is up. The cottage is warm and cozy while being spacious with absolutely everything you could need. A good sized grocery store is just minutes away, and there are lots of good places to eat in the area. Richard is a charming and attentive host. He gave us lots of wonderful recommendations from dining to siteseeing. If you're looking for that Irish experience that you've always imagined, this is it. Will definitely be returning!

Absolutely loved this place. Fantastic host, so easy to communicate with, friendly and helpful, place was very clean, bathrooms in particular look new and very well kept. Beds comfortable, for parents of young kids we found it handy I could stay away from the younger kids with our baby at night as one room is in another area away from the others…made for a more restful holiday!! One of the best playgrounds we’ve been to in walking distance. We were there in a storm and it was so beautiful to have our windows right on the beach, equally beautiful when the sun came out! Great fun on the beach. Sauna right beside the place and a beautiful toy library of beach equipment available to borrow on the beach. Nice food options and a Spar in walking distance for the basics. We had a lovely time at the Copper Beach Cabin, we could not fault it! We spent 2 nights there end of November and arrived when it was dark. Shelly and Ger had the place lit up for us, with lovely Xmas decoration, it felt so welcoming! The weather was wild but we were always warm and confortable. The wind outside was pretty strong but we could barely hear it. The cabin had everything we needed and the area is stunning. We are definitely hoping to go back with our bicycles, closer to the summer! Thank you Shelly and Ger!

We enjoyed our experience of this novel (to us) accommodation including the thoughtful "welcome" gift of some fresh eggs. It was strikingly pristine and well furnished. The setting is rural and peaceful but within a short distance of shops and other amenities. Would recommend.

we had a great stay there, the views are amazing. it is located in a perfect location and a bar and a shop across the road was ideal for us. The house wad spotless and a full kitchen if you wanted to make meals and washing machine there aswell if needed. We would go back in a heartbeat, thanks again Kathleen

We enjoyed a New Year break in this house set in the coastal area of Fethard. Even though the weather was mixed wr really enjoyed our stay The house is comfortable and well equipped Lisanne was very helpful and friendly. The area had nice beaches for walks and Hookhead Lighthouse is a very interesting place to visit.

A gorgeous apartment with everything you could possibly need. Location is great, so close to the beach and near the supermarket too. We loved it! We’ll be back. Thanks Martin.

This is a great house to explore the local area, Curracloe beach, Edenvale waterfall, Raven's point beach/forest walk. We were 7 adults & 2 children & all had a comfortable stay in the house. The only downside for a large group on a weekend away like ours where we like cooking in the house is the small fridge. Everything else was good, linens & beds were comfortable, showers were fine, quiet country road so no noise when sleeping . If you would like walk to the town high visible vest would be recommended.
