A nice oasis in the middle of the city! Solema and Rosio were super friendly and helpful! Breakfast with fresh fruit and pancakes, amazing day riding the horses to swim in a cave and have freshly squeezed sugar cane! They helped us with organizing the taxis and recommended where to eat! We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at casa densil. However, it’s important to note the following: - if you are looking for a 5-star luxury stay in a high end neighborhood, this may not be for you. - if you are looking to live amongst the people, experience the culture, and truly see the city, this is the place for you We always felt safe walking (we didn’t typically stay out past 10pm), but the neighborhood(s) surrounding casa densil are pretty run down. But the location was great for us as we were able to walk almost anywhere within 10-15 min. The amenities were limited, but we had hot running water, electricity, food & beverage, beds and functioning air conditioning However, what made casa densil an unforgettable stay was less about the location and amenities, it was the people. I will fail to name them all, but we literally had 9 people committed around the clock to making our stay memorable. They were swift to help us out with literally anything. We will never forget them!

An authentic Cuban finca all for yourself, with a spacious clean and neat house and a huge garden with fruit trees. My partner and I felt at home here, and always so well taken care of by the utterly and genuinely friendly hosts. We missed these people and the place as soon as we left. We enjoyed daily short strolls to the nearby village Barreras (for buying produce etc), and the around 45 min walk to the most gorgeous beach nearby. One can also take taxi to the beach, and to the bigger and busier beach-town Guanabo. It may be smart to bring your own mosquito net/tent, but only for the twilight and early mornings, even though we rarely got bitten. The kitchen is spaceous and has all the basics. I can warmly recommend it, with its local Cuban charm and the most helpful and exellent hosts. This place is a gem!

The place was clean and quiet, the breakfast was great! Behind the garden there is a tobacco plantation, which makes the surroundings really beautiful. It is also only a 10-minute walk to the restaurants:-)

Fantastic house for entertaining, the pool was a nice touch, along with having someone cook breakfast and stock the fridge. I highly recommend and will be back next year.

Can’t recommend Glenda’s tropical paradise enough! The hosts were so helpful with everything from coordinating taxis to preparing delicious meals and making it feel like home. The location was peaceful and private but only a short walk from the beach where there were options for fresh food as you walk along the beach. Can’t wait to come back!

Accommodation organized into two bedrooms that communicate by a terrace . The setting is lovely. We were able to ask our hosts for breakfasts and a meal that were delicious. Our hosts were very available and very discreet. They were very accommodating on the schedules and good advice during our stay. We had a lot of fun staying at this place.

Excellent place, good price. Belkis and family are extremely friendly and helpful. They took care of me like family, and I really appreciate that! The location is very good, near good restaurants and local private markets where you can acquire all you need for a moderate price. I recommend the place and the area in general. Listen up! This place is so much better than the photos (which are perfectly nice already). It’s an amazing classic home with kind hosts that I wish were my aunties! It’s huge, with two bedrooms each with a private bathroom. About two blocks from the heart of town — a mere 2 minute walk on the old and very uneven cobblestone roads. Breakfast is a feast for the ages. They were kind enough to alter it a little to accommodate my dietary needs.

We had a lovely time in Casa Toa. The place is beautiful and the People very friendly, the all took very good care of us and gave us good tips for activities and walks. we really recommend staying there.

Laura and Thomas were so sweet. The first day Laura made us dinner and it was the best meal I had in Cuba my full 6 days of being there! They helped us with excursions. We took a fun salsa dancing class. Overall great experience

Hortensia and Mario are simply the best! We have rented their Airbnb numerous times, and we plan to keep visiting regularly as long as we can. It is a beautiful and comfortable space, just a block or two from the ocean, that we strongly recommend for a peaceful getaway. We are so grateful to them for their hospitality, kindness, and warm welcome, always. You won't regret staying here!

very good location near of all the good bars and restaurants in the city,cleaning service on point any issues with that they change the bedsheets and towels in one week like 3 times and I love that ,all the staff really good and always taking care of the costumers needs.Totally retuning soon
