Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Cowpet Bay

My group of four had a great stay here. No issues with communication and Harold was a huge help for us getting around the island. He gave us much better rates than the taxis. The view from the porch is amazing. AC unit was powerful enough to keep the whole place cool. Bathroom is large but it is outside so there are critters around. No issue with bugs in the house but we did get bitten by mosquitoes in the bathroom. They kept a can of bug spray in there so we started just spraying it around when we needed to be in there. The only cons I’d say are that if you aren’t a reasonably fit person the stairs up and down may be too much for you. You can drive to the top though if you’re renting a car then it wouldn’t be a problem. Also, you can hear absolutely everything happening on the floor above from the talking to toilets flushing. There are earplugs provided but if you are a light sleeper just keep that in mind. Despite that we would still rebook great house and great hosts! Recommend it!

The house was absolutely perfect for my family. We took my mom and three kids (14,10,7) the views were stunning and the house was well stocked with more than I could imagine. Trevor met us at the ferry dock and drove us to the villa. He answered all the questions we had and was so helpful with everything. The car included made it possible for us to hit as many beaches as we could fit in and see all the things we wanted to. We will absolutely be back!

This triplex, that amounts to a five bedroom, 4 bathroom house worked exceptionally well to accommodate my three friends and me…All appliances worked well and we literally did not have any problems whatsoever … it is a Very safe location way up in the mountain; so safe was it that we never had to be concerned about locking the doors, day or night… I recommend this location without reservation! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St. John. Isa was so friendly and welcoming, always offering helpful recommendations and suggestions. She always made sure we had everything we need. Her home is beautiful and was the perfect place to stay on the island. The place was peaceful and her artwork was stunning. We would absolutely come back and stay here again. Thanks Isa!

We loved our three days at Danielle's beautiful guest house overlooking the water. We sat out on the porch every morning and ate our breakfast and basked in the beauty everywhere. The house was nicely furnished and we had everything we needed during out stay including great beach chairs and a cooler. The washer and dryer were added an added bonus and very helpful for our beach vacation. The house is a little challenging to find the first time but Danielle gave good directions and was immediately responsive when we needed guidance. We loved our time on St. Thomas and would stay at Danielle's place again!

Everthing was exactly as pictured. Kitchen had all you needed and some free coffee, water and Coke to get us started with our groceries. Sophie was superb, answered all our texts quickly. We are in our late 70's and the ammenities were great for us. The porch with the grill was our favorite spot to watch the ocean and sail boats.

10 out of 10, not only was the place amazing, but K was the best host. She checked in with us and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. K was super accommodating as well. The views were absolutely stunning! One of the best sunrises I’ve ever witness, and the cool thing was, you didn’t have to go anywhere to see it, you literally just walked out on the balcony and there it was. Place was extremely clean and well organized, pool in the back is perfect for a relax and chill kind of day. The location is on the north end of the island, you can walk to the local market, we would get groceries there. We went to Sib’s, bar/restaurant close by, one of the oldest restaurants on the island I believe. The food was great! If you want a super private, check out for a couple of days, to rest and relax, this is your place. Do not hesitate, go ahead and book it. Thanks again to K for being the best host and allowing Sami and I to stay at your place. We will be back for sure!

Great, special place unique to the island. What a treasure. Tons of space. Loved the deck, hot tub, design, high ceilings, rustic vibe, open showers, and beautiful plants. Not sure the bean bag works as a queen bed, but all the other rooms and beds were cozy and spacious. Perfect for a group who doesn't mind an open layout. The tiny home is great for a single adult and small child who needs their own area and is okay with an outdoor bathroom. We rented this as a wedding party and had no trouble getting taxis (a must), others had a car rental which helped. Fun times! Thank you!

My friend and I stayed for 6 nights. The views were breathtakingly beautiful. The rolling hills and national park were just exquisite. One night the sunset over the hills looked like a painting in my pictures. We got to relax and swim in the pool one afternoon. The house was very clean, had everything you could need or imagine- beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, beach tent and a cooler. The washer and dryer were available to use with detergent and scent beads. In the kitchen she had some snacks for us, multiple different liquors, and some oatmeal and pancake mix for breakfast. We went to a different beach each day… our favorite was trunk bay and cinnamon bay. We rented a 4x4 jeep, which in our opinion was very necessary. The roads in St John’s and to get to the house are very hilly, steep, with sharp turns. Driving in St. John’s is not for the faint at heart! To get into town and market was about a 15 min drive. We would definitely recommend Monic’s apartment!!

First time on the island and staying here and waking up to the amazing view every morning made me fall in love with it! The pictures don’t do it justice! The perfect quiet neighborhood for a relaxing stay but still close enough to Red Hook to easily access restaurants and the ferry to St. John. The book with local recommendations inside took the guesswork out of planning and helped us find places we may not have otherwise! Can’t wait to stay again soon and spend more time on the balcony watching the boats come and go!

Had a fantastic stay. The apartment was quite large with two bedrooms in one side and one on the other. The beds were very comfortable. Each bedroom had an air conditioner which worked well. The kitchen was fully equipped. The living room had a large smart tv. The large porch had two hammocks and a large table. The views were fantastic. There were many thoughtful touches. Water in fridge, bug spray, sunscreen, beach towels, beach chairs. Etc. Everything you needed was in the apartment. The only thing I had to buy was laundry detergent. Speaking of which there was a full sized washer/dryer. It was great having places to park. However. I would suggest a jeep with 4 wheel drive or something similar. I would also suggest making sure you arrive during the day at the start of your trip because the roads are challenging All in all a fantastic place. A great base for a trip to St Thomas. I would stay here again and highly recommend.

We stayed at St Thomas in Jackie’s place for three nights. The view from the porch was more beautiful than the pictures. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning watching the sunrise and in the evening, sunset. Jackie was so kind in offering to pick us up at the boat terminal and also allowed us to check in early too. She sent a video with clear instructions in finding the place. Jackie responded to our every need. A basket of snacks, bottled water, sunscreen and bug spray were waiting on the counter…so nice. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Nest West! Everything went smoothly, and the unit was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. A special thank you to Paris for his patience as we got a bit turned around on the way to check-in. (Tip for future guests: Google Maps works best for GPS—Waze led us astray.) We really appreciated the clear and consistent communication with the host throughout our stay. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with essentials (i.e. pots, pans etc..) for cooking, and the chilled bottles of water in the fridge were a much appreciated touch on our first day. The beautiful view from the unit was the cherry on top! Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and well-managed stay.

Everything is exactly as described and in the photos. Beautiful place surrounded by nature. The condo is extremely clean, and as well-stocked as you’d want an Airbnb. Don’t be worried about the drive! It’s not bad, and only 10 minutes from town. Great central location to get to many beaches and hikes. The value for Tina’s place is outstanding and I’d stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Tina!

My best friend from college and I took a much needed girls trip and this condo exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, clean, quiet, had an amazing view of the ocean and we were even left a welcome gift. The condo was fully stocked with the basics and the condo manager picked up our groceries and put them away before we arrived. The private beach and pool were perfect and don’t sleep on Sangria’s. The food there was amazing and my friend who has celiac said they had the best gluten free pizza she’s ever eaten. If we had any questions the hosts and condo manager were quick to respond. With all of the complaints people have nowadays with Airbnb cleaning fees and requirements we were shocked that all we had to do upon leaving was lock up. The only suggestion we could possibly make would be to maybe have a list of favorite restaurants, bars or things to do that a tourist wouldn’t think of doing. Our stay was absolute perfection and we’d definitely come back.

Great Location! It took us a little bit of time to find the location. It’s right next to St. Thomas’s yacht club. Once we arrived and checked in, we were pleasantly surprised it looked just like the photos. Me and My Husband stood 30 days. This is the first time I stayed at an Airbnb. I am so thrilled we did. The convenience of having a kitchen, a washer and dryer the freedom to come and go as you please. Nathan’s project manager Brittany was wonderful and took care of any mishap that will occur. The beds were extremely comfortable. He had everything that you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Thank you again so much, Nathan. We definitely will be back in the future. You can’t beat the Location . the restaurants and so many attractions are endless .

I can't say enough about this condo and the hosts who manage it. From the minute I landed the hosts were in constant communication with me and had sent a message saying the condo was ready hours prior to check in. Once I arrived it was exactly as described and of course the views were phenomenal. They even left snacks in the fridge for me which was a nice touch. It was minutes from many restaurants/bars, beaches, ferries and shops. There was unfortunate rolling power outages one day but the hosts sent me a message giving me updates which was above and beyond. I have nothing at all negative to say other than be aware this is on a large hill and you need to be careful driving up as the road is narrow and walking around could be tough for some but this is the price you pay for the views. The only drawback is that the views are so amazing that I needed to find motivation to leave and do something instead of sitting on the patio! :) Thank you so much Ross and Xaverie, I'll be back!

This was my second stay at Mary’s at Sapphire Beach. The location is great. The view is amazing. The beach is clean and well maintained. The balcony is my favorite part. I could sit out there for hours.

Our stay at Chris's Condo was excellent. The view was amazing and just what we were looking for on our 20th Annivresary getaway. We rented a car, and had no trouble gettig around the island. The provided parking space was great and conveniently located near the door to the unit. The space was clean, well provisioned with everything we needed from beach towels to pool noodles. We walked over to Bolongo Bay for breakfast one morning. The directions Chris provide were spot on and we'd have been lost without them. Be prepared if you do, the hills coming back are quite the little workout! The place was centrally located well enough that we were able to explore the island east to west, and the north side, over two of our days, and still be within 20 to 30 minutes from almost any direction. We watched a Cruise ship departing the first night after sunset, and the breeze with the doors open was nice enough to keep things bearable (in late May) and hear the waves crashing from the Bedroom.

Beautiful condo with an amazing view! Condo has everything you need. Did I mention the view? Mike is fantastic to deal with and has great recommendations. He is very knowledgeable and loves to help! By far he was the best Air BnB owner I have ever dealt with when renting. We followed his trip PDF and it was spot on! Definitely pack a suitcase or a couple with your own food! Literally brought all of our meat, snacks, condiments and some veggies! Mayo is $24 at the store! And lastly if you are traveling with little ones they don’t need an ID when traveling from US to STT but you do have to go through customs on the way back and need an ID (passport). We will be back!!

Wow! Can I just say how wonderful our stay at Jessica’s place was! It’s so peaceful and the view is amazing. I felt like I could sit outside enjoying that amazing breeze forever. We truly did not want to leave when our time was up. The apartment is lovely, beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. The balcony is nothing short of magical. The bed is very comfortable and everything was clean and as described. The short walk to Coki was perfect for us. Wishing we could have many more days at Jessica’s place. Thank you so much!

Property was exactly as described. It was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy. The kitchen had all the cooking supplies you need and plenty of small appliances too. We spent a lot of time outside on the patio enjoying the beautiful view of the water steps away. It was about 500 feet away to swim or snorkel every day. We loved it and can’t wait to come back! Fabio is an amazing host and checked in often to make sure all was well-we would not hesitate staying at any of his properties!
