Had a great stay at Kevin’s, clean, modern apartment, would happily stay here again!

Lovely spot, we went out on a boat on the river Shannon for the day but came back to a lovely clean and comfortable stay at the apartment. Directly across from Keenan’s bar and restaurant and lovely food.

Just as described. Would gladly return.

This was the second time I’ve stayed with Geraldine who is so welcoming. Whenever I’m in the area she will be my first choice. She treated us like family and made sure we were comfortable. I can’t say enough about this beautiful space. Old world exterior with tasteful modern interiors. The courtyard is an oasis from the rest of the world. Yet he town is easily accessible by foot. Close to train station and expressway bus stop to Sligo, Ballina, Dublin City or Dublin airport. Only 1.5 hours from/to Dublin by car.

Beautifully decorated apartment and comfortable beds! Free parking and delightful gazebo space to sit. Great place to stay!

Norbert greeted us and was very friendly and showed us where everything was and added bonus of ingredients to make a fry up. The place was lovely and clean very comfortable beds fully equipped kitchen and washing machine and tumble dryer. Couple of minutes walk to pub and convinence store and about 10 min drive to town. Highly recommended staying here for peace and quiet.

We needed a place to stay that was local to Ballymahon at short notice for a family occasion. Alisha’s home was just the ticket. Very convenient for Ballymahon and for visiting family in Keenagh, the property was absolutely outstanding. The first thing of note was that the photos of the property do not do it justice. The kitchen is open plan and has everything you could possibly need with quality products throughout. The downstairs shower room is beautiful and fantastically appointed. The living room is very cosy with a huge fireplace. There’s also a very interesting history of Barry which is well worth a read. All the bedrooms were very comfortable (beautiful linen) with the ensuite being particularly useful. Plenty of storage too! Finally Alisha’s communication was absolutely first class. From the time that I booked until check out Alisha was always responsive to queries & was proactive about making sure we were ok. All in all I would not hesitate in recommending & would stay again.

Desde o inicio procuravamos uma casa para acomodar a minha familia de 6 pessoas que iria viajar de Portugal para visitar a minha filha e namorado. Encontrámos uma casa com as condições que pareciam ser perfeitas e num local lindissimo. O David mostrou-se sempre muito simpáitico, acessivel e disponível Quase na data de ir para a Irlanda perguntei ao David se poderia alterar a nossa reserva de 6 para 8 possoas e a resposta foi de imediato afirmativa. Ao chegar à casa não houve surpresas. Era exactamente de acordo com as fotos e como descrito nos comentários. Encontrámos uma casa com sabor a casa. Muito aconchegante, confortável, com o essencial para viver. Bem decorada e quentinha. Como planeamos viajar para a Irlanda com alguma frequencia, certamente a casa do David será a nossa primeira escolha. Muito obrigada por tanto David.

we'd a great stay in the cottage. Claire was amazing! so quick to reply and even purchased a new BBQ free I inquired if there was 1!!! now that's service. place looks exactly like the photos. beds were comfy. only noise was the birds and the lambs ☺️. 10 minutes walk to the local pub and shop. 10 minutes in Longford town. thanks again for everything Claire. look forward to visiting again

I stayed at Carmel's place a few years ago and have often wanted to return. This time we stayed at Carmel's place with a large group of mums and our kids. We had wonderful time and would love to give even more stars as Carmel and Fintan went above and beyond anything expected from and air BnB host. The location was great in a rural setting and safe and secure so we felt our kids were safe running around. The cleanliness and facilities were second to none and their were so many extra personal touches that made our stay so comfortable including taking into account food preferences for breakfast and leaving us some lovely treats. Some quotes from the other mums show how pleased we really were: Carmel was so thoughtful. When they saw how many kids there were they power washed and sanitised some extra toys for them to play with which was a nice touch. Carmel went above and beyond with the extras (toiletries, slippers, dressing gowns, breakfast, treats), we really weren't expecting that. And she seemed happy to host a load of children which lots of places are not. Absolutely the best air BnB I’ve stayed in for all the little extras, the pony rides were fantastic….the slippers & toiletries etc. It was a great space for kids & families. I didn’t feel worried about letting the kids roam for a bit… The super stocked fridge 👍🏼 the electric front gate made it feel safe as well and the ground level trampoline was a major hit with all 😁

Beautiful home located in a peaceful, country side setting. Great amenities and well provisioned. Just as described! We had a great time with our family and really enjoyed visiting the smaller towns around the area. Thanks Saskia for great stay!

Tolles Haus mit sehr viel Platz. Wir waren mit sieben Erwachsenen dort und hätten locker noch zwei weitere Personen unterbringen können. Toll vor allem die vielen Badezimmer, so dass man sich hier nie in die Quere kam. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre, dass man jedem Gast zwei Handtücher zur Verfügung stellen könnte und die vorhandenen schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind. Perfekt auch die Lage des Hauses von wo aus man in wenigen Minuten in der Hauptstraße mit Pubs, Geschäften usw. ist. Wir waren Ende April in Moate, wo leider ganz wenig los war und fast alle Pubs und Restaurants erst ab Donnerstags Essen anboten. Moate ist perfekt gelegen, um sich das Landesinnere Irlands mal anzuschauen (Athlone, Clonmacnoise usw.). Nur zwölf Kilometer entfernt in Ballymore gibt es auch einen tollen Pitch & Putt Platz. Absolut zu empfehlen für jeden der Spaß am Golfspiel auf kurzen Bahnen hat !!! Alles in allem mal wieder ein toller Aufenthalt auf der Grünen Insel !!!

A really great place to stay. Lots of room inside and a large back patio which was great because the weather was spectacular. It’s very close to all of Athlone’s restaurants and pubs. A large grocery store is a five minute walk. It was nice to have both a washer and a dryer.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was really nice, clean, cozy, and in a great location. It had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it to others. Thanks again for the lovely experience!

Die Wohnung war echt super! Hat alles, was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Mega coole Stimmung durch die LEDs. Preis-Leistung in Irland unschlagbar. Kann man nur empfehlen!

This location was absolutely stunning! The interior was spotless and had everything a couple needs on a night out in Athlone. This was the cleanest air bnb I’ve ever seen. Also the location is a 3 minute walk to Sean’s Bar and other food and drink spots. Highly recommend to anyone spending a night in Athlone!

Eileen's place was absolute serenity. Super quiet and a wonderful place to come back to after a busy day out exploring. Only a 10 minute drive into Tullamore, so easy access to shops and restaurants. We found it a great central location to enjoy day trips from. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet base.

Great place, ideal for a couple exploring Athlone and the surrounding areas. The guys were super responsive and all information was to hand. Very cool LED light features and an amazing shower!!

Highly recommend the Grove! very modern and clean apartment, comfortable beds, great walk in shower and good WiFi! had everything I needed, I would stay here again!
