Had a great stay at Kevin’s, clean, modern apartment, would happily stay here again!

Lovely spot, we went out on a boat on the river Shannon for the day but came back to a lovely clean and comfortable stay at the apartment. Directly across from Keenan’s bar and restaurant and lovely food.

Just as described. Would gladly return.

This was the second time I’ve stayed with Geraldine who is so welcoming. Whenever I’m in the area she will be my first choice. She treated us like family and made sure we were comfortable. I can’t say enough about this beautiful space. Old world exterior with tasteful modern interiors. The courtyard is an oasis from the rest of the world. Yet he town is easily accessible by foot. Close to train station and expressway bus stop to Sligo, Ballina, Dublin City or Dublin airport. Only 1.5 hours from/to Dublin by car.

Beautifully decorated apartment and comfortable beds! Free parking and delightful gazebo space to sit. Great place to stay!

Norbert greeted us and was very friendly and showed us where everything was and added bonus of ingredients to make a fry up. The place was lovely and clean very comfortable beds fully equipped kitchen and washing machine and tumble dryer. Couple of minutes walk to pub and convinence store and about 10 min drive to town. Highly recommended staying here for peace and quiet.

We needed a place to stay that was local to Ballymahon at short notice for a family occasion. Alisha’s home was just the ticket. Very convenient for Ballymahon and for visiting family in Keenagh, the property was absolutely outstanding. The first thing of note was that the photos of the property do not do it justice. The kitchen is open plan and has everything you could possibly need with quality products throughout. The downstairs shower room is beautiful and fantastically appointed. The living room is very cosy with a huge fireplace. There’s also a very interesting history of Barry which is well worth a read. All the bedrooms were very comfortable (beautiful linen) with the ensuite being particularly useful. Plenty of storage too! Finally Alisha’s communication was absolutely first class. From the time that I booked until check out Alisha was always responsive to queries & was proactive about making sure we were ok. All in all I would not hesitate in recommending & would stay again.

Everyone’s stay is for a different reason - my family brought our mothers ashes back to her home town. The last thing we needed was added stress - but it really was like a home from home and David kept in contact the whole time . This made a very stressful time easy . We could not get over how comfortable all the beds were & how lovely the house was . Words cannot express our gratitude for the whole experience at a difficult time. We are already planning our next trip & will be going back to Shannonside & David’s warm welcome . A real expert at what he does .

Claire was amazing! so quick to reply and even purchased a new BBQ free I inquired if there was 1!!! now that's service. place looks exactly like the photos. beds were comfy. only noise was the birds and the lambs ☺️. 10 minutes walk to the local pub and shop. 10 minutes in Longford town. thanks again for everything Claire. look forward to visiting again

I stayed at Carmel's place a few years ago and have often wanted to return. This time we stayed at Carmel's place with a large group of mums and our kids. We had wonderful time and would love to give even more stars as Carmel and Fintan went above and beyond anything expected from and air BnB host. The location was great in a rural setting and safe and secure so we felt our kids were safe running around. The cleanliness and facilities were second to none and their were so many extra personal touches that made our stay so comfortable including taking into account food preferences for breakfast and leaving us some lovely treats. Some quotes from the other mums show how pleased we really were: Carmel was so thoughtful. When they saw how many kids there were they power washed and sanitised some extra toys for them to play with which was a nice touch. Carmel went above and beyond with the extras (toiletries, slippers, dressing gowns, breakfast, treats), we really weren't expecting that. And she seemed happy to host a load of children which lots of places are not. Absolutely the best air BnB I’ve stayed in for all the little extras, the pony rides were fantastic….the slippers & toiletries etc. It was a great space for kids & families. I didn’t feel worried about letting the kids roam for a bit… The super stocked fridge 👍🏼 the electric front gate made it feel safe as well and the ground level trampoline was a major hit with all 😁

Beautiful home located in a peaceful, country side setting. Great amenities and well provisioned. Just as described! We had a great time with our family and really enjoyed visiting the smaller towns around the area. Thanks Saskia for great stay!

Linda Is a great host and the home is beautiful in and out . She is a great host who checks in on you and is very helpful and welcoming . Some of my Family was flying in before checking in and she offered they check in early. Linda my family and I thank you for helping make our stay in Ireland so memorable . We would recommend anyone looking for a spacious home in a quite private location to stay here. Thank You Linda!

A really great place to stay. Lots of room inside and a large back patio which was great because the weather was spectacular. It’s very close to all of Athlone’s restaurants and pubs. A large grocery store is a five minute walk. It was nice to have both a washer and a dryer.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was really nice, clean, cozy, and in a great location. It had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it to others. Thanks again for the lovely experience!

This was the perfect place to stay between Galway and Dublin Airport. Super clean…coffee, tea and milk were provided. Had a great dinner down the road at the Left Bank Cafe then walked down to see the waterfront (Shannon River). Headed to Sean’s Pub for some music and a few pints. Great location & great night. Made it to the airport in about an hour and a half. Easy drive. A parking lot was on the left just up the hill. It was an easy 3 minute walk from the Air B & B. Just perfect.

Eileen's place was absolute serenity. Super quiet and a wonderful place to come back to after a busy day out exploring. Only a 10 minute drive into Tullamore, so easy access to shops and restaurants. We found it a great central location to enjoy day trips from. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet base.

Great place, ideal for a couple exploring Athlone and the surrounding areas. The guys were super responsive and all information was to hand. Very cool LED light features and an amazing shower!!

Highly recommend the Grove! very modern and clean apartment, comfortable beds, great walk in shower and good WiFi! had everything I needed, I would stay here again!
