It is situated just beneath the Upper Barrakka Gardens, just a stone's throw away from Valletta's shopping streets, in a quaint area of this beautiful baroque city nestled within 12 kilometres of fortifications, known locally as bastions. This little hideaway has a wrought iron balcony where you can sit and read ,or simply gaze at all the comings and going in the Grand Harbour .

Birgu/Vittoriosa is a medieval city surrounded by fortified walls and flanked by a sleek marina. The parish church is dedicated to St. Lawrence. It is one of the oldest cities, playing an important role in the Siege of Malta in 1565. The 0.5 km2 city is located on the south side of the Valletta Grand Harbour, with a long history of military and maritime activities. Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans Byzantines, Arabs, Normans, Aragonese and The Knights of Malta all shaped and developed Birgu.

Right into the spectacular Birgu's harbour creek this apartment enjoys 180 degrees unobstructed breath taking views. Valletta (World Heritage by Unesco) the capital city of Malta which has been also chosen as the City of Culture 2018 is reachable in only 15 minutes by ferry from my apartment. Ferry berths a few metres away from my place.

Enjoy the beauty and charm of the authentic side of Malta, surrounded by hundreds of years of history. Our house has been inspected and is legally registered and with the Malta Tourism Authority (HPE/0761). We collect 50c a day Tourism Tax which we pay to the government on your behalf.
