We had a perfect stay at this cottage. It was easy to find and so homey. Joyce was very proactive about making sure we would be all set for our stay and the place was very clean, cosy, and welcoming. There was even a bottle of wine, biscuits, and popcorn waiting for us - which was very appreciated. There are shops and restaurants within a ten minute walk and just out the back of the cottage is a lovely nature walk. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to stay in the area as it captures its essence. I would love to stay again sometime!

We had a lovely stay at Anna’s. She was super helpful with detailed instructions as to how to find no. 2 1/2 and she had the place really nicely heated after a long drive. It felt so welcoming and nice! I’d strongly recommend staying here, the surrounding towns and villages are beautiful and I’d definitely stay at Anna’s again. She was the perfect host 🤗

Had a great stay at Little Birch Cabin. The surroundings are beautiful and the wildlife amazing. We saw a Wildcat on our first night and Pine Martens most nights. Red Squirrels and lots of birds during the day. It snowed during the week so we were grateful for the log burner to keep us warm!

We had such an enjoyable stay at No 4 Dee St. Blessed with the weather so we were able to walk every day which was the main reason for our visit. However, if we hadn't been able to do that we would have been very happy in this warm, well-equipped cottage in the village which is friendly, has great places to eat and drink, a very good Co-op and has a proper feel of a 'real' place. We didn't need to contact our hosts during the stay as everything was as described / provided but I did make a quick enquiry beforehand and had a very swift and helpful reply from Leanne. I fel confident that if I had had to be back in touch then it would have been just as good. We have every intention of making a return visit! Thank you, Liffy & Jonathan

Loved Anne’s place! So cozy and well kept. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely, comfortable peaceful stay.welcomed with Fionas lovely homemade scones, free range eggs from the resident chickens and beer in fridge. Oh and a special mention for Grahams honey (keeps bees 🐝which is divine), which was lush also, great to get local produce. Liked it so much we decided to stay an extra night. Within easy reach of amenities, villages, Balmoral castle. We hope to return soon, as the area has some breathtaking scenery to behold. Thank you to Fiona and Graham for accommodating us at last minute for extra night, grateful for that.

Thank you very much for a fantastic stay. We absolutely loved the cabin - it was a perfect place to relax in the evenings. The log burner makes it so cosy! The surrounding area is beautiful. We will be back to explore more in the future!

Had a wonderful stay in the lovely cooshed for a long weekend away and as a base to explore the countryside. Lovely fire to keep warm in the chilly Scottish weather and great information from the hosts for the stay and to find it, Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! Although it's located off the main road, the minimal traffic made it a non-issue. The setting is incredibly remote and peaceful, surrounded by stunning mountains that create a picture-perfect escape. Advertised as a tiny home, we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it felt—perfectly cozy for the two of us. The fact it had only wood heating made us cautious initially, but it turned out to be a highlight. It warmed up quickly (within an hour) and retained the heat beautifully throughout our stay. Arriving to a chill and then enjoying the cozy warmth was such a treat. If you’re looking for a tranquil, off-grid getaway with breathtaking views, this is it. Highly recommend!
