Vacation rentals in Collon

If this gem of a farm is available, don’t hesitate to grab it. Couldn’t ask for a better location for visiting Newgrange. If you are able to walk, the Newgrange visitor center is just a 10-15 minute walk down a country road. Alison and Pat live onsite and so enjoyed meeting them. The friendly goats, pigs and sheep will be at the fence in the morning to say hello. Their craft shop on site is also such a treat to browse thru and perfect for souvenirs. I came as a solo female traveler and felt very safe here. If you don’t have a car (as I didn’t) Drogheda is an easy taxi ride away for dinner, nightlife and to catch connecting buses and trains. Also was able to use Uber here to call a taxi to and from Drogheda. My stay here was a highlight of my trip. Thank you for the amazing hospitality.

Stayed at Annie’s cottage while attending a family wedding in tankardstown house. From the minute of booking Annie’s cottage to checking out Samantha was so helpful. The cottage is just perfect and feels just like home the second you step in the door. I will definitely be looking for an excuse to be back.

Fantastic hidden gem, so pleased with everything - Eddie & AnnMarie were very welcoming, the space is beautifully designed & nice and secluded right by the River We had an amazing romantic night away for my partner’s 29th birthday & in the morning got up a bit early to sit & enjoy some coffee out by the river and bird watch before leaving. Luckily we got 2 herons flying literally right past us & a nice little foraging goldcrest. The plunge pool was something else, so glad we were brave enough to try it! On Eddies advice we stopped for food at Strandfield and it didn’t disappoint. 10/10 Would love to come back!

We had an excellent stay. As we entered it was lovely and warm and remained that way during our stay. This was very welcome as it was extremely cold outside. The space looked even bigger than the pictures and it easily accommodated 4 adults. It was very clean and welcoming and I would definitely stay there again.

This has to be one of my top 5 stays. It was absolutely beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was gorgeous and Duncan was so kind and welcoming and provided great recommendations. I only wish we could have stayed longer - We will be back to stay again!

Drummond Tower is amazing in all aspects! Such a joy to experience all it has to offer. It exceeded expectations. The accommodations offer modern comfort while maintaining the medieval ambiance. It is definitely a fun stay! Highly recommend. Much better than just having a room. The whole place is a vibe you can’t miss!!!
