Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cobourg

My family and I enjoyed staying at Michelle's Blue Heron Lakefront Cottage! Michelle was a great host, super responsive & helpful when we had issues connecting to the TV! The place was beautiful and we would for sure come back! Thanks again for having us :)

After being displaced from our home after damage from severe weather we were so fortunate to find this location. The house accommodated our family of 4 with pets for nearly a month without any issues. The kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms are well finished, bedrooms were comfortable and the location was very clean. The backyard is a beautiful and relatively private space hidden within a 15 minute walk to the downtown restaurants or the beach area. Anzhelika is an excellent host who was very responsive when needed, provided clear instructions and ample privacy. We would happily recommend this location to friends and family attending the area for events.

The house is very clean, lots of room. Great for fishing. Just steps away from the marina. We will definitely be going back!

Property was massive with walking trails throughout, 10min drive to ganaraska forest was a bonus. there was lots of room to accommodate 3 vehicles with atv trailers

We came up to visit my sister’s family for the holidays and the location was close to her and the space was fantastic. Parking was abundant and the host had plowers come by a couple times to make sure it was clear and had salt for the steps so no issues. Host was always responsive and was able to help us out with a pack n play for our toddler which was one less item we had to travel with! I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Our group of 8 enjoyed our long weekend stay at Partridge Hill in PEC! The house was clean & spacious, well stocked kitchen and had great amenities (pool, bbq, firepit, board games). We also appreciated the Sandbanks pass and detailed check in/out instructions. Host may take a while to respond to messages (took a few hours to reset the wifi when it went down). Should also note that one of the bathrooms is an en-suite located in the master bedroom. Be cautious of mosquitoes during warmer months!

This is more than just a place to stay but truly an experience with such care and attention taken to every detail. Would love to stay again so we can enjoy for longer.

This was such a lovely airbnb to stay at! The care and attention to detail was evident and we felt right at home. It was well-stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen supplies and had everything we needed or wanted during our stay. The hot tub area was so beautiful, private and relaxing with a massive tub and jet waterfall :) Loved the decor and lighting, and even the garden area was so cute and well cared for! There was so much to see and do, I wish we could have stayed longer! But we definitely plan to book again!

Doreen and Derek were excellent hosts. They were warm, friendly and receptive. The place was clean, nicely furnished and the kitchen had all necessary amenities. The neighbourhood was quiet and beautiful. We would like to visit the place again if the opportunity arises.

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

I don’t even know where to start. Super comfy, super clean, Richard and Susan really love their home and it shows. There’s a calmness and peacefulness as you walk in. My partner and I enjoyed this weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Thank you Richard and Susan for allowing us to unwind this weekend!! This was my third time staying at Nick and Robert’s space and I will stay again. Robert was extremely helpful and friendly. He sent messages throughout our stay to make sure everything was going okay. The apartment is beautiful and feels comfortable. The space was perfect for me, my mom, my husband, and 6 year old. If you’re looking for an affordable stay in Port Hope I recommend Nick and Robert’s place!

Anuhea was an amazing host. The place is as described, beautiful & cozy. Short waltz to downtown Peterborough. Did not have enough time in our quick visit to do the sauna, but what a bonus!!! We would stay a hundred times over & bigly recommend these wonderful people & their guest suite.

Doris was a great host, she made us feel like home and so comfortable specially in thanksgiving time. She was so responsive and answered all our questions, she even let us to check out two hours after normal check out time. Overall very clean, perfect location, nice host and peaceful area, worth every dollar spent. :) would love to go back again with my family this time.

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

The cabin is in a wonderful secluded part of the woods. The stream running nearby is the cherry in top for serenity and ultimate peace. John and Steohanie were super friendly and helpful in getting me the fireplace started as it was still quite chilly some days and nights. The cabin is very cozy, comes with all necessary amenities. I definitely packed extra but there were utensils, pots and pans, propane stove top, bbq, a propane fridge and cozy comforters and linen on the beds. They even had coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and kettle for hot water. They have definitely thought it out well. The outhouse was also clean and well maintained. Visit from Nugget was also a great surprise and nice to have moments of some company in the wilderness. I had saved some burger for Nugget but sadly, didn't see her again. Oh well. Def would visit again! Next time would love to meet Nova! :)

Cant say enough great things about our stay this weekend. The property was very clean, it says a lot when an outdoor kitchen is more clean than most indoor kitchens. It was a cold night so it was nice to have an awesome fire pit and the room for sleeping stayed warm throughout the night. Excellent communication from the host throughout the whole process. Will definitely be back here and have already recommended to several friends. Thanks!!

My husband and myself along with our well behaved dogs stayed at the cabin by the creek for two days at the end of April. The off grid cabin was clean , spacious , cozy and had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor kitchen and spent a lot of time sitting by the creek. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax - and the dogs enjoyed it too! Thank you John , we will be coming back again 😊

Had a wonderful stay, the cabin was absolutely perfect. Very cute, clean and well appointed. I will definitely be back. I strongly urge vacationers to try Honeys Diner, down the Rd, delicious breakfasts and the Woodview convenience store has all your last minute items that you may need, not to mention very yummy locally made cheesecake and butter tarts. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -Linda 🙌

I found this place during the power outage, hoping to find somewhere warm to stay, I was pleasantly surprised as I have stayed in many Airbnb’s for pleasure/travel. This was the first time I have ever felt that every section of this place was so meticulous to the travelers stay! It’s dog friendly. I had my senior great day in there with my partner, and we will definitely be coming to visit again ! It’s the perfect little getaway from every day life for you and your partner. I absolutely adored staying here and the host is absolutely amazing. You can tell she really cares about that place and who stays there.

We had the most wonderful 2-night stay at The Nook, a beautifully converted barn that truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful setting and the charming character of the property. The barn has been thoughtfully renovated—retaining its rustic charm while offering all the modern comforts you could want. The interior was cozy, stylish, and spotless, with a comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and lovely touches throughout that made it feel special. One of our favorite features was the dedicated meditation area, complete with yoga mats and calming décor—it was the perfect space to unwind and reconnect.

We booked Jasmine's home for my bachelorette weekend and it was fantastic. Super close to Ste. Anne's spa, private and quite and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Jasmine was also very responsive whenever we had a question!
