Great house. My children said it was the best house.

I came up with my brother and our families for a late winter ski trip and we had a great time. The property is very conveniently located near Okemo, has a well set up kitchen, and an unbelievable couch we got to sink into after a long day on the slopes. Top marks. We’ll be back!

Our family had an amazing time at Mountain View Escape. The house is perfect for kids (game room, hot tub, plenty of space to play) AND adults (5 minutes away from the Stratton slopes / Village, picturesque views of mountain range and an incredibly tranquil all-around setting). The house has all of the amenities you could ask for and has the space to comfortably host multiple families at the same time without feeling congested. We had a perfect ski weekend and cannot wait to go back, in any season!

Kate’s Airbnb was perfect for a weekend trip to VT. Instructions were very clear, in a great location, absolutely 0 complaints. High recommend staying here!

This house is gorgeous and was perfect for our ski weekend with friends. We had three couples, two other adults, and a dog and this house was ideal- so cozy and welcoming! The beds were comfy and each bedroom had a beautiful skylight, the kitchen was great for group meals, and our favorite feature was the couch- it was SO comfy and so massive that we all fit comfortably on it at once! Also, the kids playroom featured play mats that ended up being perfect for stretching pre/post skiing :) The house is also conveniently located 25 minutes from Okemo, and our puppy loved running around the quiet streets nearby. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent stay at the cabin! everything was as described and there was ample room for our group of five adults and four children (7+2 by AirBnB count). Everything was clean, neat and tidy, and very well equipped. Definitely felt like a second home, not just some investment property. The few minor issues we encountered were quickly addressed. The one more significant issue, when we lost power due to a storm, was also rapidly addressed both by the host and local Power company. 9/10 would stay again - 10/10 if the sauna and fireplace become available. :) A few things to note, most interior doors lack locks, no washcloths provided, upstairs rooms are not ducted, and the heating solution limits sound privacy. Copious skylights bring in daylight and some warmth but lack curtains or blinds for dark sleepers.

This is our second time working with Kate, and she is a great host. The cabin had everything we needed and was a comfy Apres ski place for our group. Thanks for always being great, Kate! We would 100% come back again.

The house was absolutely wonderful, presented exactly as it was described and we had a wonderful stay here. We had plenty of space, incredible views, and were incredibly close to the mountain. We think the house is even better in person than the photographs show. We also really appreciated how responsive our host was to any queries. Highly recommend for a fabulous multi family getaway.

Kate’s Stratton home is wonderful! It is very spacious, warm, and comfortable. The 5 bedrooms have comfortable beds with beautiful warm bedding. The 3 full bathrooms are very nice, large, and clean with plenty of cozy towels. She has closets full of extra bedding, blankets, and towels. The kitchen is well stocked. The view from every window is spectacular! The driveway and steps were plowed and shoveled — and we arrived in the middle of a storm! The hot tub was amazing. The 7 minute drive to Stratton was easy. Kate sent a welcome message and checked in with us by message during the weekend to make sure we were settled. I would return to this beautiful home in any season!

This is a really special place! Such a perfect mix of cozy and chic. The shower was amazing!!! We found some snowy trails nearby that were absolutely gorgeous for a winter hike. Coziest couch ever. Very comfortable beds. Felt private and in the woods but also we were just ten mins from a grocery store and other conveniences. We had a short drive up to Woodstock. A perfect Vermont getaway. We can’t wait to stay here again.
