Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Clay County

The property was fantastic! I'm glad she has the outdoor lights lighting in the driveway - this was extremely helpful. We especially loved the privacy. The house is wonderfully laid out - great organization. The head and hot water worked extremely well. We cannot wait to stay at this unit again in the near future!

From the moment we put in our reservation Bobby and Dina made us feel so very welcomed. We truly enjoyed our stay at their beautiful home on the river. The peace and tranquility of the home made it a much needed getaway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. Bobby and Dina were super responsive to any requests we had and made some super recommendations of things in the surrounding are. We rode up on motorcycles and the drive in and driveway were very accessible for us to navigate and park. we will definitely be making this our usual place to stay when we're in the area.

This was one of the best stays I’ve had! Loved the cozy vibe this place has and had a blast! Would definitely stay here again in the summer to utilize the dock and kayaks!!! 10/10

Really enjoyed the home. Our trip was cut short due to anticipated weather to travel 11-12 hrs home. Would love to come back and enjoy the porches during different seasons. During our stay it was cold and rainy. Place was as described- clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Rodney was very responsive and understanding when it came to checking out earlier than planned. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay! The house was beautiful with every amenity you could possibly need. Dan was responsive and easy to communicate with. The location was conveniently situated between Murphy and Hayesville. From porch sitting to movie nights in the theater room, we had a great time! Read the description well! Driveway is very steep and you have to park at the bottom in the gravel area!! We were able to pull up the drive to load and unload but the incline was not well liked by our car! We had hoped to be able to spend some time in the water but didn’t have enough time and there didn’t seem to be an easy way in. Finally, if relaxation and peace is what you are looking for…BOOK NOW!! Just don’t take our week that we are already planning to return.

We spent five days there; it was a great place to rest and relax. The sunset view is excellent; there’s a tower from which the view is phenomenal. The property’s location is ideal for relaxing and unwinding; it’s very private. It would be great if the furniture were on the main floor balcony. Overall, the place is clean and organized, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The only downside is that you have to take your trash out, and there’s nowhere nearby to dump it. The only place you have to pay to throw it out is to pay a fee, and you have to consider that you have to pay a fairly high cleaning fee, which makes no sense.

Me and my friends spent a week at this place. Even though it's a shared space, it's very private. The surroundings are beautiful and it's a great place to unwind and relax, highly recommend!

Mike and Karen were gracious hosts! Their Airbnb was cute and had a beautiful front lawn. Would recommend to anyone needing a place in the area!

The resort is lovely! It’s a nice get away. Just keep in mind cell service is limited in this area! It’s beautiful. 😍

Great place close to the Nantahala trailheads. We were there to do some hiking. Check-in was seamless. The apt was comfortable and perfect for our weekend.

Belinda and Ben were great host! The home met our needs as we were waiting to close on our home. The space worked well for my husband who was working remotely and also for the visiting grand kids. The home is simple bbut had everything we needed.

Holly was extremely responsive and helpful. The cottage was much cuter and cozier than the photos depict. It was very quiet and tucked away in the beautiful NC mountains. The parking spot is a little short, but our minivan did fit. The road to the cottage is dirt and could be a little challenging for a small low riding vehicle. We did not have problems. We love the country so we took these things in stride. She had many small additions that made arrival and the stay special like caramels, tea, and coffee choices. You could tell by these additions and her exemplary communication that she wanted our stay top notch! We would highly recommend this cottage.

Could not have asked for more! The house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed, and more. Great central location and beautiful setting. The hot tub was clean and delightful after a long day of hiking. The host was very responsive and helpful. Absolutely perfect place!

Loved this place! We were in the area for a wedding, but Karah’s place was a perfect little getaway from the big city. It’s tucked away and surrounded by nature which we loved. We wish we could’ve stayed longer and explored! Her two adorable dogs were a plus as well! Everything was neat and tidy, and Karah was super responsive to any messages or inquiries. 😊 would definitely recommend!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The place had everything and more – fully equipped with all the amenities we needed and more thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, making it the perfect getaway. We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Location was great to go on hikes and still visit the local towns. Part of this trip was visit with the venue and caterer for my daughter’s wedding in June and the location was wonderful for that also.

We had a wonderful time on the river. We had a campfire for the kids and the grandparents enjoyed the sound of the river. It was so peaceful. The water was a little high and fast for fishing due to the rain but it was the perfect spot to relax. I recommend the river walk in town and the fields of the wood.

Fantastic place and a short drive to the casino. Quiet and a great location on the River.

Beautiful place to stay! Very relaxing and modern cabin like feel. We enjoyed the proximity to the casino and restaurants. The hot tub is amazing day or night. Would 100% book again.

We had a lovely stay at Carla's cabin. We were there for Christmas week-the cabin was decorated for the holiday with a Christmas tree in the living room and even a small tree in the loft space! The loft space has its own bath upstairs. The gas fireplace was a plus. This is just a lovely cabin in a beautiful area. Easy to find, parking was right out front. Can't say enough good things!

I can’t stop thinking about Featherwood Folly!! The pictures do not do it justice. The absolute awe we were in never wore off. The attention to detail is absolutely astounding. You could stay here for a week and still not find every little hidden detail they have thought of to add to this world they created. It was like living in an ispy book. I’ve never been in a place that made me feel so giddy, inspired, and at peace all at the same time! Jessie and her team are so wonderful. They go above and beyond! We stayed at their other property the night before and they even offered to carry our stuff over to the next one. Our only complaint is that we didn’t book more time here. We can’t wait for our next trip up to the mountain shire!!
