A lovely 17-18th century building, one of the oldest properties in Belford, that has a coffee shop below. In a friendly village only 5 miles from picturesque Bamburgh. Belford has pubs, restaurants, play parks, shops, chemist etc Very central for all attractions in Northumberland only half hour and you’re in Scotland. Near the coast with all its castles and beaches, and only 12 miles from Holy Island. Alnwick is only 14 miles away with the amazing castle and Gardens, also Barter Books.

Beatrice Cottage was a wonderful stay for us. Cozy cottage with large main bedroom, comfy 2nd bedroom, ample sized bathrooms, and good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Nicely accommodates 3 or 4 people. We felt right at home in a small village. Walking distance to Warkworth Castle and pleasant walk along Coquet River to the Hermitage boat launch area. Two of us also walked to the ocean front. Grace was super helpful, and her instructions made arrival, entry, and departure straight forward.

Cannot praise this house enough! We are a group of work colleagues staying for 2 nights & we had the best time. The house is amazing, great location, had everything you could possibly want/need for your stay. Rachael is a fantastic host, great communication & she left us a lovely welcome hamper. The views from the house are stunning, and a lovely leisurely walk (30 mins) takes you into Berwick where we had an amazing lunch at Limoncello Italian Restaurant. The sunshine was an added bonus! We will definitely return.
