Not only was the space fun and pretty, Jean thoughtfully provided fresh fruit, milk, snacks and breakfast foods for our use. So perfect!

great space, immaculate. the owners go above and beyond to make the unit feel welcoming. extra credit for giving us the heads up that work was being conducted outside and scaffolding may block the view. the view even with some scaffolding was still amazing. it was sad we were only here for one night as the location and beach views are top notch. cheers again for the clear communication and pristine living space.

Great value for money, the QT hotel is just down the road, but much preferred the space and amenities available in the apartment. Plus the price was much better. Beautifully styled with quality inclusions. Location was fantastic, we took bicycles and thoroughly enjoyed the harbour and coastal tracks.

Beautiful and spacious unit in a lively, walkable neighborhood gives great value for money. The wi-fi connection wasn't great, so not ideal for remote work. There are several stairs, so not suitable for those with mobility challenges. Lovely harbor views from the sunny balcony. The kitchen has everything needed to cook for yourself, or there are lots of great restaurants within a short walk. Philippa even had a parking pass we could use, so could park on the street right out front. She was an excellent host!

Sarah’s Wren’s Nest was perfect. It is exactly as described in photos and words. Despite its size, It is comfortable, secure, convenient and easy to access. The bed and sofa are comfortable and there is plenty of space for clothes. The shower is roomy and clean. A suitcase stand is provided. Sarah responded to a question quickly. Despite being downtown, it was actually quiet. The black out curtain plus privacy screen kept the apartment dark at night. The beaches and harbor are very close with the beach/harbor tram only a block away. The apartment is on the Hunter mall, so there is a bakery, coffee shop, restaurant, chemist, quick mart and restaurant on the block, but the downtown area surrounds the apartment so you are never far from anything you might need or want. Entry is via key and fob, so I suggest you have a key chain to keep it secure. All in all a very nicely appointed apartment, downtown near harbor and beaches.

My mother and I absolutely loved staying here. Inside and out was actually even better than the photos showed. Was a comfortable, tidy, modern, quiet space. Outside with the spa, pool and sauna made us feel like we were in a resort in Bali. Given the chance we will definitely stay again.

Amazing! Ainslie and Dan were fantastic hosts & the property just delightful, well and truly exceeding our expectations. The property is well furnished, beautifully styled, immaculate and well equipped with everything you could possible need for a relaxing stay. The additional fridge and pantry items were a lovely surprise and meant we could settle in without the need to feel rushed to get the shops. The location was perfect being so close to essential amenities with the views of Lake Macquarie just superb. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the balcony watching the sunrise. Beautiful, cozy and super clean home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. So conveniently located and short drive to the wineries.

This is our second time staying here and our family of five love it. It’s clean, facilities work well, has a transitional style and is in a quiet spot. Easy check in and check out. Enough towels, blankets and cleaning supplies etc. Across the street is an unbelievable cafe, and up the road there are some other good spots to sit for a coffee or have a meal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Not a simple issue at all, very clean, well decorated and equipped with everything you need. Location is great also!

Absolutely loved our stay. Perfect location - so close to the beach and great restaurants. Communication was excellent, beautiful terrace house, lovely neighbourhood.

we loved our stay at Annettes place, super peaceful location with multiple outdoor settings for aperos or eating under the stairs, and cosy indoors with good heating for the cold winter evenings! we loved taking the kayaks out on the water for a very safe paddle and plenty of garden games like cricket, football, petanque to keep everyone entertained. Fraser and Annettes instructions and local recommendations were perfect, highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at John and Lani's place. House is awesome and in a great location for an easy walk to restaurants and bars. Great value for money and we would highly recommend choosing this property if your looking for a great airbnb.
