It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Andre and Sofia house. It was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The beds were great quality and was in a nice peaceful location so had a great sleep. They provided a local guide of places to eat out and visit. It was printed out in 4 different languages! Again another example of the effort they put in to make our stay the best possible. I cant thank them enough and will defiantly return. Highly recommended.

Book now and don't hesitate. I am very grateful to Phil and Magdalena for hosting us for our Summer family holiday away from the UK. The villa is beautiful. The surroundings are stunning. A 1 hour 20 minite drive from the Airport. Simple to find. Great check in instructions and easy to find. We were welcomed with some thoughtful treats to get is settled in. The place is made spotless and squeaky clean. All bathroom essentials and towles are there for after your journey. The spacious kitchen has everything you need to cook family meals. The adjacent comfortable and sizeable dining room has a TV with modern apps and WiFi. There are toys for little tots and my youngest of 2 was made up with the boxes of duplo and brio train tracks. All rooms have air con and each bedroom was well furnished with super comfortable bed linen. Outside is a dream. A beautiful Veranda with views overlooking a nice large and flat lawn next to the pool. We loved playing outside on the grass and in the pool

We truly enjoyed this place. Quite, clean and great location. Bed was comfortable, amazing bathroom with plenty of quality towels. Everything we could need was provided. Parking lot very close as was the main square. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks Linda.

Lovely and peaceful cosy house surrounded by beautiful woodlands. The location is great if you want tranquility. The garden/pool are lovely and well equipped with little tables and chairs dotted around. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. A mini supermarket is 8mn away other wise Pombal is 25mn. Flávio is super helpful and friendly. He recommended a few places to go and eat. We loved our stay and would recommend it.

Gonçalo's place is a great little spot on a charming street in the historic center - and Gonçalo couldn't have been more welcoming. We really appreciated him meeting us when we arrived and offering us some tips on where to park nearby for free and where to get a good meal nearby. He even brought us a little pitcher of milk for our morning coffee! Everything was super clean and the bed was comfortable. The apartment doesn't really have any windows except for the glass in the front door (which can be shuttered to close) but since hardly anyone walked by we mostly left it open. We only stayed one night but would stay here again if we return.

Our stay in Rita’s home was nothing short of magical. Ideally located, clean, and filled with rich historical significance, we immediately felt transported back in time. The house is well-equipped, and when we ran out of firewood, Rita graciously delivered more (for a small fee). The area is quiet, beds are comfortable, and communication excellent. Highly recommend!!!

Tranquil and beautiful place indoor and out. The creek and nature were outstanding. Breakfast items and bread delivery were highlights.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa das Taliscas ....the house is even better than in the photos, it is very well located and quiet. -Property +++++ -Equipped pool at the top and very well exposed... sun all day. We were very well received. The hosts are very pleasant and very responsive when needed. We can't wait to come back.
