Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Châlons-en-Champagne

The property is very spacious and cozy. The highlight is the roof terrace with a hot tub, which was already preheated upon our arrival. The communication with Amande went smoothly. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Jean Eric was the best host I’ve ever had in my dozens of stays with Air Bnb. He was more of a personal concierge than a host. He provided a comprehensive guide months in advance, offered to book my family a tour and tasting at a nearby champagne house, and even offers a 5 star dinner in the house (he and his wife are former restaurateurs). The meal they provided was the best of our trip and very affordable. They also had some small going away gifts for my children when we left! Such kindness. I’ll honestly say we will miss them. Also the listing undersells how beautiful the area is. The town is a small village on a hill with amazing views of the Marne valley vineyards! Spectacular!

Renaud's communication was great. His place was perfect for an overnight stop for us and our dog. Plenty of space, clean and tidy. Outside courtyard is secure for the dog which is great so they can wander about after a day travelling. Supermarket and shopping centre within walking distance. Thank you Renaud

We stayed for one night, to break up the drive from Calais to Nice. This was a lovely little cottage with a beautiful, private garden and free parking nearby. Thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful charming little town with walking areas for our dog. It was remote and very charming! Host was very helpful with check in and explaining aspects of the house.

We had a pleasant stay with friends at this beautiful property. The location along the Marne is very pleasant to walk around and very peaceful as well. The accommodation is very good, with a lot of charm and the perfect bedding. The instructions provided to us were very clear and Mathilde always responded quickly to our requests. Good to know, there are shops (bakery and super market) in the village 800m away. I would recommend this place.

Beautiful house in a beautiful, peaceful environment with lovely heated swimming pool. Hosts were very attentive and easy to get hold of. Lots of very useful information about the area, activities and places to eat before and on arrival. We booked Champagne tours and meal at Chateau de Sacy well before arriving. Perfect location for exploring the Champagne region.

Very good stay at Marius's in Chalons. We had everything we needed and did all the walking, whether to the train station or the city center. The apartment is clean and very bright. Marius is very responsive and accommodating. I'll be happy to come back again if the opportunity arises. Thank you Marius for this stay.

Our stay in Chalons was an all-round pleasant experience. We had visited Chalons several times as a stopover more than 40 years ago, but had no memories. We were then surprised how beautiful the city is, how many sights and attractions it offers. Joyceline's tips were also useful. From the apartment you can do all the activities in the city on foot. We explored the city and the parks ("Jards") in one day and took a long hike along the Marne and back to the canal. Then on the 2nd day we visited Epernay and Hautvilliers, where we also took a hike in the national park, the next day then Reims. The apartment was also ideally located for this. We thank Joyceline and Frederic for letting us use their apartment, and we can only recommend it.

We stayed there one night, flexible check-in, quick response and very helpful, beautiful surroundings, I can only recommend.

Vincent's place is a good place to stay if you are staying in Chalons. The apartment is comfortable and has all the required kitchen and living room facilities you need. The town centre is a short walk away, where you will find plenty of restaurants and bars. There is also a very nice park by the river where you can sit and have champagne.

Ideal base for discovering the champagne region. Super nice location with immediately convenient shops a minute walk away, downtown where we really ate deliciously. Apartment was well cared for, beds neatly made up and there was already water ready for us. Contact with the host is great, responds quickly and thinks along with you where necessary. This apartment has a fantastic location. Many restaurants and cafes within a 2 minute walk. The cathédrale, Reims train station and multiple tram stops are also within easy walking distance. The apartment is on the top floor of a renovated mansion. Clean, quiet and intelligently designed. Note that the bed is lofted, accessible by retractable ladder, so people with mobility issues may find this a challenge. The building itself is safe and there isn’t too much street noise at night despite the building being in the center of downtown. A great place for either a couple or a solo traveler.

Everything was great. The apartment is great location for enjoying the surroundings. It is also very clean and very well-equipped. Perfect for this short stay for my daughter and myself. In addition, Alexandre is very responsive. We'll be back with pleasure!

Nice house with central location. Everything is within walking distance and we were able to park our car in the parking lot. Only too bad about the street renovation but we were informed in advance about this 😊
