Absolutely outstanding! My typical airbnb reviews read something like... clean and well equipped and nice owner. Rest assured, the cottages are very well equipped , completely modern, and the hosts are WONDERFUL. Leaving an amenities focused review such a this for our recent Cottages Antoinette experience simply would not capture the spirit of how wonderful our stay was. This is truly a special experience in the heart of a special region in one of the world's great nations. Champagne houses within a minute walk. Ville Bakery and Restaurant reached with 2 minutes walking. Access to walking trails in the forest also accessible within 2 minutes of walking. Snuggles with Iggy (chocolate lab) and August (cat) readily available! Chilled Champagne and wines are stocked for purchase in the cottage. Completely silent at night with exceptional views from the bed, living room, and terrace that overlook champagne fields and, in the distance, Reims.

We did not know Lake Du Der , we were pleasantly surprised by the diversity of possible activities, the first of May many people but we went around the lake for 36kms by bike it was peaceful. It is possible to go around the lake by fly boat, it is possible to jet pedal boat . Julie's place is very well located near the lake , you can walk , by bike , it is as described with a cozy and very clean decor

Small cottage and its very cozy garden ideal for a weekend getaway. The beautiful functional fireplace brings real charm, and the barbecue allows you to enjoy the garden. Simple and homely interior decoration, with a lot of attention to detail, it feels like a family country house that has lived in. In terms of equipment, we didn't want for anything, especially in the kitchen where everything is there. The road is close and although we are out of sight, we hear a few cars during the day. On the other hand, at night it's quiet and we slept really well. The house is also well insulated. We parked very easily outside the property, on the side of the road. Thanks to the hosts for the free coffee and late checkout on Sunday afternoon! We were looking to recharge and rest, and it was a winning start!

We were looking for a quiet and calm place surrounded by nature, and this was a 100% expectations-reality match. We were there with kids, and it was pretty safe to let them run around the property. I can add that there are plenty of activities for children, including a trampoline and a treehouse. The kitchen was fully equipped and quite modern. We were able to grill and enjoy dinner outside. In any situation, Benoit was quick to respond with answers or recommendations, which was very helpful.

Great stay at this property. Denise was extremely welcoming, available and thoughtful as soon as we arrived. The house is spotless: very clean, perfectly equipped. The space is bright and comfortable to live in. Ease of parking directly on site, a real plus to travel serenely. The location is ideal to fully enjoy the pleasures of Lake Der, with all the activities and beautiful scenery just minutes away.

Nice cozy cottages, well-equipped, with very comfortable beds. There were 10 of us and the large cottage was large enough to accommodate us all, around a large very convivial table or in the living room in front of a fire in the stove. We didn't take advantage of the outdoors because the weather wasn't good enough. The cabin is superb and we thought of our grandchildren who would have loved it but we were, however, able to share a game of petanque. Visit to Troyes on Saturday, hike to Lake Der on Sunday and return via Châlons en Champagne on Monday. Busy Easter weekend that allowed us to meet with friends in a beautiful place. The address is to be remembered. Thanks to Carmen and Benoît who, although on vacation, were very responsive.

Great cottage, good value for money Plenty of space, both inside and outside. Allows you to spend good times with the family, and well located for visiting Lac du Der. (The Marne supply canal to the lake is right next door.) Some short details and contradictions between the information provided on Airbnb and what the intermediary agency has indicated to us. Example: cleaning included according to the first, not included depending on the second (in the end, it's included, wow!). Difficulty to get the sheets option, the agency and the local management gite of France are sending the ball back, but in the end everything is settled and we were able to take advantage of it. Finally, for any purpose, on the number of places: it is 10 places in the beds, but there are also 2 sofa beds, and a baby bed, which would technically accommodate 14 people + 1 baby (even if the dining table is set for 10).
