Townhome vacation rentals in Central Switzerland

Communication with the host went very well. The welcome and introduction by Karolina was perfect. Cannobio is an enchanting town on Lake Maggiore, it is easy to stroll, there are many restaurants, a large market on Sunday and you can hike in the immediate vicinity. The apartment is beautifully and centrally located, only separated by the promenade on the lake. Nevertheless, the bedrooms are quiet to the back of the house. The kitchen is a little dark but well equipped. The apartment has charm with its three levels and the small balcony to the lake. I can imagine going back there again.

For our surprise weekend for the birthday of our mom, we've chosen this place. Communication with Jo was great. She always responded very quickly. We also had a small water issue and Jo responded immediately. The approach is actually very adventurous and very steep, especially when it rains and the foliage is wet, it was a bit difficult to get back to get back to. The place was very clean and well stocked. We would come back!

Spacious house, perfect for our needs. Great outdoor space/terrace with gorgeous view of Lago Maggiore. A quick walk to the local grocery store in Pino for fresh rolls and cheese in the morning. A very friendly and nice lady lives in the house next door.

We really enjoyed staying at Clelia’s cottage. It was an easy 10 min walk to old town Vevey and the boardwalk which was really fun to visit. There’s a Tuesday market which was really fun as welll. Restaurants are pretty close. Keep in mind that groceries are closed on Sundays. The unit is very spacious and comfortable. The beds were not very comfortable but I’m a very light sleeper so others might be fine with that. Also be aware that it is on a Main Street and the cars can be a little loud at night. Clelia is a joy, so friendly and helpful.

We spent a week in this beautiful house. The lake view from the terrace is breathtakingly beautiful. A parking spot was also included. The host responded super quickly and kindly to any questions. The check in was straightforward and everything was explained and shown to us. The house is well equipped and it was super clean. We felt very comfortable.

The most incredible property, and Alessandro is an amazing host! So helpful and proactive with ensuring we had an amazing stay, couldn’t recommend higher!

We had a lovely stay in Gravedona. Francesca was always available and very flexible. The place has a very nice promenade (right outside the door) and a great beach, especially for children, which is a 10-minute walk away. The apartment is on the ground floor, very reassured as the house is surrounded by greenery and gardens. There is no through traffic here as it is located in the backyard directly to the lake. The access to the lake is locked by a door, which may be used with a paddle board from Francesca. This is good, otherwise all holiday guests of the different apartments would walk by. We felt comfortable and thank Francesca. Tip: Rent a boat in Dongo, behind the Iperal or enjoy the lake by the beach. The best ice cream is on the promenade just in front of the church.

I stayed for four days and had a wonderful experience. Grazia was incredibly hospitable and warm, which made me feel very welcome. Everything was well organised and perfect. The location and the amazing view made my stay even more enjoyable. All in all, I was really happy with my time there.

Amazing house and location was perfect especially when arriving by car. Less than a 10 minute walk across the border to get the tram into the centre of Basel. Couldn't be any easier. Would re-book again when visiting the area. Only downside is everything locally is closed on a Sunday which made it slightly difficult (couldn't get any immediate supplies).

We had a nice cycling trip and appreciated the garage for our car and bikes. We had lovely weather so the only thing we missed is a terrace/garden on the quiter side, but the place was as on the photos and very clean. Thank you Jianqian for being responsive! All the best.

We had a great time in Avignon. The accommodation is nice, identical to the photos and close to the lake, which is a real plus. The kitchen is very well equipped, with lots of dishes, and even a plancha. Bed and bath linens are available. Our host was welcoming and left a beautiful fruit basket available for us.

We had a pleasant stay, for the first time we visited Belfort and its regions. The house is very clean, well-equipped, comfortable, it matches the description perfectly. As 3 families (9 people with children) we found the room distributions well done. Thanks to Cécile for her responsiveness and kindness.

Very clean accommodation, beautiful location, peaceful; House large enough for 3 adults and 3 children, which proved necessary due to inclement weather and allowed children to do indoor activities, some days. Interesting location allowing visits to the Lombardy shore of Lake Maggiore.

We had a very nice time staying in Franziska's house. The house is comfortable and quaint with some old interesting features. It's right in the centre of town so perfect for shopping / restaurants, but feels peaceful and has a nice garden and balcony to enjoy the outdoors. Parking Monday-Saturday is up quite a steep hill behind the house. Only a 10 minute walk though so not a problem. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Jessica's place was lovely! The house was spotless and comfortable. Everything we needed was available, and the location was perfect for us. Jessica was a kind and responsive host. Highly recommended!

Me and my girlfriend had our first couple's vacation and this airbnb was perfect for it Its a very warm and welcoming place (in no small part thanks firepit too) and full of charm The location is perfect with a comfortable distance from public transport and some places of interest too (like the castle righr above it) If we ever get a chance we are going to rent this airbnb again in the future for sure

There were five of us plus toddlers over Easter at Moritz's. When you enter the house, you immediately know that the photos are real - the view from the living room to the lake is great - one floor higher even better. You can easily reach the lake and the city on foot, the car can stop in one of the two parking spaces in front of the house. The location is really quiet, even the train passing further down you don't hear. We had everything we needed for cooking, sleeping, relaxing in the house - even the selection of books has a lot ready. The house is very spacious - we had plenty of space as a 5+1 family and were able to relax on the two balconies or in the living room. We'll be back.

Carole was a wonderful, welcoming host. Pfastatt is a great place to stay for visiting Southern Alsace, and the home was well-furnished and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here!

A little paradise – highly recommended! We were very lucky to be able to spend a few days in this wonderful place – and it was just perfect (except the weather)! The apartment is excellently equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is furnished with a lot of love for detail and very personally designed, so that you feel at home from the first moment. The location is fantastic – quiet, idyllic and with a breathtaking garden on two levels. A real retreat with lots of charm! We would also like to emphasize the hostess: extremely personable, warm and helpful at all times. You can tell right away how much she cares about making her guests feel comfortable. We can highly recommend this place and will be happy to come back!

As someone who had the privilege to visit this amazing country and really get to see so much in 7 days this place is so well located to explore all the breathtaking places Interlaken is 25 minutes Zurich is about 1.5 hours Lauterbrunnen and grindelwald about 45 minutes dedicated parking for the house the house itself is very spacious 3 individual bedrooms all amenities are present in the house including a seperate washing machine room the host is very very responsive and genuine he went out of his way and showed us some amazing Swiss hospitality cannot go wrong with this place we were a group of 3 but it has more space for larger groups highly recommended

The place was very nice & modernly furnished. Exactly my taste. Seba was very easy to reach and was very nice & accommodating. The location is quiet and relaxed. We had a lovely time.

We had an amazing stay with Moritz! It was a fantastic location, he was a super responsive host and the cat Gini was very easy going. The apartment was very clean and plenty of amenities. We loved our time here and would have loved to stay longer. Thanks for a great stay !
