Townhome vacation rentals in Central Switzerland

For our surprise weekend for the birthday of our mom, we've chosen this place. Communication with Jo was great. She always responded very quickly. We also had a small water issue and Jo responded immediately. The approach is actually very adventurous and very steep, especially when it rains and the foliage is wet, it was a bit difficult to get back to get back to. The place was very clean and well stocked. We would come back!

We had a great stay at Kirstin's house. It is a very charming house with plenty of space, and large living room with a great fireplace. The kitchen is superbly furnished - the coffee maker is a force. We enjoyed the freshly ground coffee every morning. The dining room has a nice big wooden table and views of the garden and terrace. The house has 2 bathrooms, one is very large and luxurious with shower and large bathtub Beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy and very tastefully decorated. It is only 4 - 5 minutes to the train to Basel. Great connection. You can be in Basel in 8 minutes. Loved our group! We'll be back for sure.

We had a fantastic and memorable trip! The accommodation was private and the well fenced garden was very much appreciated by our dog. The mountain/valley view is just like the picture; breathtaking and peaceful. At least two official hiking trails are walkable directly from the accommodation and are very scenic with views of the surrounding lakes and mountains. We appreciated the little touches like the wall photos showing surrounding towns. It was nice to see the historical photos of the building and the investment made in the restoration and enhancement made in modernizing the building (while preserving its character). Not doable without a car, but I would say the same for Como in general. Parking at the accommodation was no issue.

Spacious house, perfect for our needs. Great outdoor space/terrace with gorgeous view of Lago Maggiore. A quick walk to the local grocery store in Pino for fresh rolls and cheese in the morning. A very friendly and nice lady lives in the house next door.

Maria's place is fantastic! You Can use grill, sun in the afternoos is shinig thru big windows. internet connection is fast and stable so You can work from home or watch Netflix. You Can use is as a proper seconda home. Maria is helpful and outgoing person. I can 100% recommend

Thanks to Christian and his wife who were extremely kind. The house is very well decorated, spacious , and well equipped. It was also very clean. Lucerne is a very pretty city and we had the chance to come during the blue balls festival: lots of small concerts around the city. You can also venture a little further towards Interlaken where you can find the cave and breathtaking waterfall.

We had a lovely stay in Gravedona. Francesca was always available and very flexible. The place has a very nice promenade (right outside the door) and a great beach, especially for children, which is a 10-minute walk away. The apartment is on the ground floor, very reassured as the house is surrounded by greenery and gardens. There is no through traffic here as it is located in the backyard directly to the lake. The access to the lake is locked by a door, which may be used with a paddle board from Francesca. This is good, otherwise all holiday guests of the different apartments would walk by. We felt comfortable and thank Francesca. Tip: Rent a boat in Dongo, behind the Iperal or enjoy the lake by the beach. The best ice cream is on the promenade just in front of the church.

I stayed for four days and had a wonderful experience. Grazia was incredibly hospitable and warm, which made me feel very welcome. Everything was well organised and perfect. The location and the amazing view made my stay even more enjoyable. All in all, I was really happy with my time there.

Thank you so much for everything, there was nothing missing in the house, the treats were very nice, we liked the view and the atmosphere. There were games for the kids. We were able to cook at home and we used the house well. Thank you very much to the host. I just had a little difficulty in transportation, everything else was great

Amazing house and location was perfect especially when arriving by car. Less than a 10 minute walk across the border to get the tram into the centre of Basel. Couldn't be any easier. Would re-book again when visiting the area. Only downside is everything locally is closed on a Sunday which made it slightly difficult (couldn't get any immediate supplies).

The home has a beautiful view and comfortable furnishings. We had a great time. Jacqueline and Justin's great care and attention to detail added to our comfort. We would love to return!

We had a nice cycling trip and appreciated the garage for our car and bikes. We had lovely weather so the only thing we missed is a terrace/garden on the quiter side, but the place was as on the photos and very clean. Thank you Jianqian for being responsive! All the best.

The house fully met our expectations: beautiful green surroundings, good public transportation, various walks made in good weather: Schloss Kyburg and through the vineyards at Laufeb and Weinfelden. Visited beautiful museums in bad weather. The house itself is equipped with everything and also suitable for different weather conditions: beautiful terrace and garden, cozy kitchen to cook for yourself or eat cheese fondue. Several restaurants are within walking distance.

Me and my girlfriend had our first couple's vacation and this airbnb was perfect for it Its a very warm and welcoming place (in no small part thanks firepit too) and full of charm The location is perfect with a comfortable distance from public transport and some places of interest too (like the castle righr above it) If we ever get a chance we are going to rent this airbnb again in the future for sure

Our stay was just amazing! The place was very clean, stylishly decorated and perfectly equipped nothing was really missing. The location was quiet yet central, so you could reach everything well. The host was extremely friendly, helpful and always available if we had questions. The check-in was very quick and easy. We felt comfortable from the first moment and would come back anytime. Very clear recommendation 5 stars!

Exceptional accommodation, both in comfort, comfort, decoration and its atypical side on 3 levels! Perfect cleanliness, very easy communication with Marielle before check-in and during the stay, trust of the host and easy check-in and check-out. All was perfect! I would highly recommend it!

As someone who had the privilege to visit this amazing country and really get to see so much in 7 days this place is so well located to explore all the breathtaking places Interlaken is 25 minutes Zurich is about 1.5 hours Lauterbrunnen and grindelwald about 45 minutes dedicated parking for the house the house itself is very spacious 3 individual bedrooms all amenities are present in the house including a seperate washing machine room the host is very very responsive and genuine he went out of his way and showed us some amazing Swiss hospitality cannot go wrong with this place we were a group of 3 but it has more space for larger groups highly recommended

We had an amazing stay with Moritz! It was a fantastic location, he was a super responsive host and the cat Gini was very easy going. The apartment was very clean and plenty of amenities. We loved our time here and would have loved to stay longer. Thanks for a great stay !

Alex and Leonardo were very helpful, they gave us a walkthrough of the property when we arrived and made sure we knew how to work the hot-tub, etc. before they left. Their place had all the needed amenities including a bunch of outlet adapters which was great as we were from out of country. The view.. absolutely amazing. When you see it you will not regret staying in their place. The town of Varenna can get pretty crowded but Bellano which was about 4 mins away had a much quieter feel with the ability to park and walk around. If you’re a bigger person you may find the shower to be a but small (I’m 6’2” - 220lbs and it was hard to move around in) but it got the job done and they have done a lot with the space they have so don’t let that stop you. Both hosts were very polite and friendly when we arrived even though we were very late due to delayed trains and some difficulties with getting our rental car. 100% would stay again!

I've been here twice. Very nice house, friendly and helpful host. Would recommend it to anyone travelling to Basel. 10/10
