This was a lovely place to stay, clean, amazing views out over the terrace where you sit for breakfast of the rice paddies and the surrounding hills. The breakfast is also amazing, filling and tasty. It was so relaxing to sit and enjoy while sitting outside. Yohan is a local guide who is available through the homestay and I highly highly recommend. He took us on a tour of Rantepao for the local Torajan history and heritage. He made it so interesting and he is a lovely lively character and I felt lucky to have him as a guide. I’m sure it wouldn’t have quite been the same with someone else. We also walked to the top of the local mountain with stunning views of the rice paddies and Rantepao in the valley

Okto is very friendly and helpful. He takes care of his guests. The room is clean with hot shower and good water pressure. Pasar Bolu is not far away and you can go to Rantepao in 20 minutes. It's really a good place to stay. I can highly recommend it.

We can highly recommend a stay at this place. We had a wonderful night at the house of Mochammad and his family. They were so friendly and helpful. We sat the whole evening together with Mochammad, his wife and their cute children. It’s a perfect opportunity to learn more about Indonesian culture. In the morning the family invited us to a breakfast and organized the transfer to bumbulan harbour. It’s only 5 minutes away and there you can take the ferry to togian islands. The room was clean and also the wifi was working well. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed our stay at the Honestay! The view was amazing and the food was delicious. We also went on a tour around Rante Pao with Yulius, who was an excellent guide. He's been a tour guide for years and was able to answer all our questions straight away
