The perfect accommodation, in the perfect location. We absolutely fell in love with the village of Bonsall.

Daniel is easily the best host I’ve ever had. We are two American students who moved to Nottingham for school and Daniel made us feel right at home. He provided endless recommendations, brought us anything we needed, checked up on us, and was always available. The apartment quickly became our home. It had all the amenities we needed: washer, dryer, iron, kettle, fireplace, hairdryer, etc. He even stocked toiletries and the like. The couch is great for naps and hanging around. The location is super convenient with a bus stop right by, grocery nearby, etc. Daniel is a friendly host who loves to provide his guests with a great experience. Would stay again 10/10.

The apartment is in an excellent location within 10 mins walk of the centre of town. We did initially have a problem finding the entrance to the car park. We put the postcode into our satnav and it took us to the right road but Station St is a one way street and we were faced with a no entry sign. Once we arrived Sally talked us through to the apartment. It was really quiet considering it’s so close to town and the railway station. It was clean and very comfortable and a great place to stay for a weekend away. Sally was a very approachable host and quickly responded to all our enquiries.

We needed somewhere to stay close to Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield. Michelle’s place fitted the bill perfectly. Michelle met us when we arrived and was friendly and helpful. We went to a friend’s for dinner but had we needed to cook the kitchen was very well-equipped. Comfortable bed and nice shower! Thank you Michelle.

Amazing house to stay at and facilities were spot on, lots of little hidden gems i didn’t expect to find that made the stay really memorable. Hot tub was brilliant as well as everything else. They left us prayer mats as they knew we were muslim so went the extra mile and some snacks, milk etc. lots of stuff and just amazing, will be back. We had a lovely family break at Caroline’s Lodge. The setting is beautiful and we really enjoyed the access to, otherwise, private land for lovely walks and visiting Staunton Harold courtyard. The lodge itself had everything we needed. It is very comfortable and the kitchen is extremely well equipped with plenty of crockery and utensils for 6 people. Many thanks for the welcome cake and bottle of wine in the fridge they were a lovely touch which we appreciated. We have had family breaks like this over the last three years and Caroline’s place is the best so far. We would love to return.

This is our 2nd stay at Lucys' beautiful cottage, and we had a fabulous time. We love the cottage and location so quiet,peaceful and close to all the Peak district attractions. Lucy is a fantastic host,so helpful,kind and responsive. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting this area.

Great stay with Katie, the pictures don't do it justice - the views are lovely. Katie was so responsive. The kitchen was well stocked, salt, pepper, tea, coffee cleaning products, bin bags. The only comment I would make is maybe to think about making recycling easier to have some separate bins.

Sarah’s home was a beautiful paradise and perfect for a quiet break away! The home was described perfectly and came with everything you need to get lost inside your own bubble! The garden was perfect to enjoy in the sun, loads of space, to enjoy with a BBQ and make the most of the hot tub. The home was modern with a minimal look that really stood out and made the house a home. For those car enthusiasts, it’s perfect, parking your car within the back yard, leaving you nothing to worry about! Sarah was very accommodating and allowed us to extend our checkout time which allowed us to enjoy her little home that bit more! Her response time was second to none and answered any questions you may have. Sad the time away went too quickly, but would visit Sarah’s home again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a beautiful couple of days away, it was just what we needed!

This house was great for our family of four plus 2 grandparents and a dog, it had everything we needed, we could park the two cars right outside, and it was very quiet. There was a nice park to walk the dog a few minutes walk away. James was a responsive and friendly host. I thought it was good value for money.

Alex was amazing with us upon arrival, and everything was exactly as described! Alex explained everything in detail and made us feel right at home for the short time we stayed. Would love to stay again. Thank you so much, Alex!

Excellent location perfect for motor point area within few mins walking distance. Great host very responsive Nice apartment as described and extremely clean added bonus of parking in a city centre which cam be costly would highly recommend

An excellent place to stop on our road trip. Easy location to find, much bigger than expected and lots of nice touches that we enjoyed. Not sure of amenities in the area as we only stopped for a night but I would recommend the place itself!

We stayed here in late May 2025, the property and furniture felt really special and unique! We had everything we needed, including a kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher etc, and a lovely spacious sofa in the living room which was really comfy for all of us! Phill was also an excellent host who made sure we had all the info we needed and gave us a brilliant list of recommended places to eat and bars! We'd really recommend this property and Phill as a host, and we'd love to stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Kim’s Annex, the place was beautifully kept and even found a few little extras on arrival such as milk, jam, bread, eggs and cereal. It’s an easy walk to the centre of Southwell where there are lots of lovely independent shops, bakeries and there are plenty of countryside walks nearby. Arrival instructions were very clear, absolutely cannot fault it and would love to return in the future! ☺️

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

Place is exactly like it says on the tin (in this case the advertisement). I stayed here with my wife for her work trip and it was great. It is walkable to Oakham Business Park if you are ever working here. Amenities like few takeaways, local pub, supermarket and a hospital (hope you won't need it) are all walking distance from this place. King's Mill Reservoir is 5mins away if you fancy a nice walk. Cost is very good for you get and the location. One of the things which is important for me, is on premise parking and unlike many other adverts on Airbnb, where they say it is on premise but then ends up being on the road, is not the case with this one. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a cost effective stay not far from the motorway M1 with easy access to local amenities.

A great spot to explore the peaks from! Plenty of walking opportunities from the house, super close to Bakewell & Buxton and a lovely local pub nearby. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Max’s place!
