Both Inma and her house are 10! Now that I have little time to plan vacations to have been to her house was the best plan, many local recommendations and details that we did not expect and we were very excited. The house is a paradise if you go as a couple or with babies; the entire kitchen area, dining room and living room overlook the spectacular garden that if you have the door open becomes a living room in the heart of nature. A luxury to hear and see the birds, the small river and the tranquility. Alberto’s place was great for us to explore the Bilbao area out of the fray of the big city. It is a short walk to metro, a quick ride to old town and Guggenheim or wherever you want to explore. The value was great. Keep in mind you are staying in an “old charm” apartment where local families live there every day lives. It is definitely for people who consider themselves “travelers” rather than tourists. As avid skiers, we loved the vintage skis mounted around. The large/tall cooking island was very handy for preparing a few great meals. There are markets and cafes close by. We can recommend.

Highlights: - Comfortable accommodation (beds, bathroom, kitchen, amenities & terrace) - Well located in the heart of the city and well served by transport (tram + bus) - Numerous shops and services of all sizes within 10 minutes Least: - Shared terrace with neighbors (not very disturbing) - Ventilate the accommodation well because, due to sun exposure, the humidity can quickly rise and be felt when you return from exploring the city. - Parking space, tight for a station wagon, more suitable for a city car. So be careful if you have an SUV.

Iker is a great host, he allowed us to get into the apartment early, there were no problems getting in. The apartment is very clean, comfortable beds, equipped kitchen (there could be more dishes), freshly renovated bathroom, great location - 5 minutes to train station. Nearby bus stops to go to San Sebastian. I recommend this place to everyone.

Typical old apartment but the kitchen and bathroom have been renovated and all amenities are working well. The sloping walls and floors sometimes give the feeling of being in a boat but you get used to it quickly. The balcony gives it a special charm. Very peaceful environment in a pleasant little port. You can go for a walk in the village and to the tip of Ogoño or to Laga beach. Bus stop is at the bottom of the street. Turning the bus on a turntable was an attraction for us. Parking is at the top of the street but you can come and unload near the apartment. The owner Unai is really nice. We made a mistake in the booking dates and he agreed to change without problem and simply. Although we did not meet him, the exchanges were very easy and the arrival with the key box is a very convenient way. I recommend it.

Bitors place was absolutely lovely. The location and apartment are brillant. Bitor met us at the apartment so check in was seamless. Really enjoyed our stay, would recommend to anyone.

We had a great time at the house, an isolated and quiet area, perfect to disconnect and listen only to nature, but at the same time close to Guernica to buy what you need. The house is very well equipped, warmth and comfort. They have lots of games for entertainment. In short, to be repeated! Thank you for everything

It was my dad and his friend who stayed in Monika's home and their experience was great especially communication with Monika and overall hospitality. One of the days Monika even brought some home made meal for my dad after a day of sightseeing. In addition, Monika was always fast to respond and provide as many details as it was necessary and possible. When it comes to location of the house, it is good for visiting many interesting and beautiful places and it is just an hour driving to the airport of Bilbao which makes it a relaxed trip. My dad enjoyed his time in Monika's place a lot and he definitely can recommend it to everyone. So when I go to this part of Spain, I will stay in Monika's place too :)

The house is very nice and just as described. Sadly because of the weather, the grass backyard wasn't usable as it got very damp. But the kids enjoyed very much the terrace. The kitchen was interestingly equipped, but the pans deserve a good update as some are falling to pieces. there was a lot of spider webs and a big plague of ants was always appearing at the kitchen not matter how much we cleaned. There are some improvements that could be done at the bathrooms, but in general we really enjoyed our stay. We where recived by Joseba with a good harvest from the citrus trees that where very savory and it was lovely to see all the garden with bunches of beautiful flowers around us. The neighborhood is nice although really far from Bilbao, but we knew that in advance.

We had a pleasant family weekend at Monika's. Very welcoming and responsive to any questions. The accommodation is quiet up a mountain, surrounded by animals dog cat sheep roaming in the wild. It has everything you need in the accommodation and is very well maintained and clean. We thank the host for their welcome, kindness and availability.

We spent a few fantastic family days, Naia was always attentive and made our stay something to remember. The house and especially the pool and the txoko make the house an ideal place to spend a few days. It has an ideal location for a lot of activities, hiking, beach... A place worth visiting. Many thanks to Naia and her husband for their attention.

although it is difficult to climb on foot, it can be done by car (free parking) or bus 58. Going down is quick and easy. The view and tranquility are worth it

Fantastic hosts. Jon was excellent in communication. We went during the cup final so bilbao was very busy. He told us train times and even took us too and from bilbao. Couldn't have asked for a better host.

Great place in a good location. Subway station is a few minutes from the property, so you can get to the center very quickly by public transport. Another plus is the parking space which is included. As a result, you have your car in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation and can visit other destinations in the Basque Country.

The absolute best view with private patio in a charming town. My friend and I stayed here for a week. We walked along the board walk, got churros by the marina, and had charcuterie on the balcony as the sunset. The sound of the ocean was the background to our long talks. Below there are bars, Kebabs, sushi, cafes, sweets and more. It about a 5 minute walk to the BM grocery store. The kitchen was small, but more than adequate for two friends. The three bedrooms and two baths had a nice layout. There is a dining table for 4 which we used to play cards, which we found in a drawer. You cannot beat the view. The view is everything. The town is charming and walkable. We loved it.

We were delighted. Begoña, who is in charge of leaving you the keys, is an excellent person. All joy and kindness. The house was great. Very well located to visit both the Basque Country and Cantabria. Highly recommended
