Tolles Haus, toller Ausblick. Gut ausgestattete Küche und Bad. Würden immer wieder kommen. (Für kleine Kinder im Laufalter muss man beachten, dass es viele Treppen gibt). Würden immer wieder kommen.

A really nicely done space that was pleasant to stay. Quiet & relaxing. Great host! Even gave us Americans our extra needed coffee 😎. Able to cook there too. Nice small market next door. Several typical restaurants on the same block. Close drive to the beautiful Comporta beach area. At dusk, there are a lot of mosquitoes outside, so bring bug spay.

Such a beautiful place near to the beach, local restaurants and scenic spots. Sabine and Ana are very responsive and provided us with local recommendations which helped us a lot to see Sintra when we are in town. It may be tricky if you are driving due to the tight parking space, but other than that everything else is amazing.

Beautiful home, Annemie gave us a warm welcome she was very responsive and helpful our whole stay. Definitely recommend thank you for having us :)

Amazing place, the view is so incredible, we spent a really great time at the villa, it is peaceful, beautiful and private! If I come back to Portugal I would definitely want to come back! Thank you again for everything!

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit. Das Haus ist genau wie auf den Fotos und bietet alles was man Brauch. Die offene Küche und der kleine Pool mit den Hängematten im Hof waren das absolute Highlight. Wenn ich mir ein kleines Ferienhaus bauen würde, dann würde es genau so aussehen. 🫶🏼 François war ein toller Gastgeber, der uns sogar mit Wein und leckerem Käse begrüßt hat. Wir kommen gerne immer wieder.

Wir waren alle sehr grosse Fans von der Unterkunft, gut gelegen um nach Ribeira surfen zu gehen und ideal für grössere Gruppen!

Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit. Die Wohnung ist groß und hat ein tolles Bad. Wir hatten ein Ameisen-Decken Problem, dies wurde aber schnellstmöglich behoben. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen

Tivemos uma experiência maravilhosa no Maty’s Place! Desde o início, fomos recebidos com muita simpatia e atenção. A casa é extremamente acolhedora, limpa e equipada com tudo o que precisávamos para uma estadia confortável. O que mais nos impressionou foi a extra acessibilidade tudo foi pensado para facilitar o acesso e garantir comodidade, o que fez toda a diferença. Sentimo-nos verdadeiramente em casa. Recomendo a todos que procuram um lugar tranquilo, bem organizado e com anfitriões prestativos. Com certeza voltaremos!

Fabulous accommodations. Helpful that luggage could be checked into hotel ahead of time since we had 2 different tours booked with a guide and unit wasn’t available prior to 3pm. Very clean, loved having own en-suite bathrooms for each room. Would stay here again and again!

Maria was an excellent host. Gave us clear instructions. Kind enough to bring us a loaf of bread upon arrival. Apartment was located in the countryside, beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. Very clean and decorated tastefully .

We had an amazing, magical stay at Casa Das Rosas. Hugo and Laura are really wonderful hosts. Please follow all their recommendations for things to do in Sintra and beyond. They really made our stay so special. The house is so nicely designed and really comfortable. The small outside sitting area on the cobblestone walkway is perfect for morning coffee. The location is great for walking. The walk to the old part of Sintra takes about 10 minutes. Take the path through the Parque Liberdade to old Sintra. You won’t be sorry . We hope to be able return to Casa Das Rosas. Thank you Hugo & Laura!

Xana and David's place just amazing! The quality of what you got far surpassed the amazing photos. More of a driving area but easy to get around with a car and less then 5 minutes from beautiful forests, beaches, surfing, restaurants on the water. On top of all this, our hosts were just lovely. they went over and above for our baby, accomodated all our requests and just made us feel truly welcome in their home. Would 100% stay again and would recommend to anyone!

Staying at Diogo and Ana was a real gift! The place they managed to build is not only a bed and breakfast, it is an honor to the local culture and the people who worked hard to build these villages in the past. We could have stayed a full week or even more at this place. It is close to Ereceira, Sintra and even Lisbon and Cascais as long as you rent a car. Once again a real gift! Not mentioning the perfect breakfast. I think I pretty much ate breakfast twice every day. It was so much enjoyment!

We had a wonderful stay in Setubal. This property is AMAZING. The gardens. The view. The walks. The nature. The birdsong every morning. The 2-min quick drive to town. And Coosje and Luiba, the caretaker, was absolutely wonderful in every way!! We felt so taken care of. I would stay here every time.

Vous n’avez pas raté votre vocation Ricardo 👍🏻 Une maison atypique mais parfaitement propre, un jardin, tout simplement incroyable ou dépaysement et bien-être sont la clé. Nous reviendrons, vous êtes prévenus 😁 Le village est petit, mais propose café, restaurant, laverie, supérette … Nous avons presque hésité à emménager. Un petit hamac entre les deux poteaux en bois, et vous ne quittez plus le jardin pendant plusieurs jours.. Impossible, car les spots environnement sont tous sublimes ! Nous nous avons adoré cette région et la visite du palais de Monserrate , linda !! boa descoberta 🤩

We loved our two-week stay at Conceição's cottage. We were four adults and two small kids, and the cottage felt roomy and homey. Our kids loved getting to play in the yard, which was well set up for small children to explore safely. The nearby Aldea Museu José Franco, which was an easy walk from the house, was also endlessly fun for them - they visited almost every day. We explored Ericeira, Mafra, and towns near Sintra, all an easy trip away. Above all, our hosts were lovely and so accommodating, truly making sure that we had everything we needed. When we had to make an urgent doctor's appointment, Carlos was so helpful at arranging an appointment at a great clinic in town. We are very grateful!

The house is beautiful, clean and cosy with authentic touches to give a cottage like feeling. Eating breakfast in the peaceful patio was a highlight. There are great cafes and restaurants nearby and the beach less than 5 minutes drive. Everything you could wish for.

Fantastic place to stay, especially if you're a beach lover or surfer. The house is in a quiet location with panoramic views. Beautiful. The house is close to the gorgeous Calada beach which has a lovely cafe on the beach for coffee, snacks, light bites and drinks. The house is close to Ericeira, Ribamar and Barril...all with lovely restaurants and all on the coast. The house itself is super. Its very modern with all amenities you would ever need for your stay. It even comes with board games. The house is super clean. It was lovely to have a bathroom for each of us during our stay. Maria is a super host. She has been so responsive and helpful with recommendations for everything you ask for. She is very friendly. I would recommend this place to family and friends and hopefully we will get to come back some day. Thanks Maria

Amazing view! Spacious for our family of four. Vanessa was very responsive to any questions we had. Quiet, private location and just a short car ride from Ericeira and local beaches. We recommend!
