Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Carvoeira

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

This is a beautiful and quiet place. The house was spacious and comfortable and I could feel the host's touches everywhere. Above all, during a large power outage, Lydia said that she was worried about our safety and came to us. Even though we couldn't meet because we were out and about, that alone was a great comfort for us who were embarrassed. Thanks to you, I had a good stay.

We liked it very much. At the property, the gigantic pool in particular is a highlight as well as the quiet location in the nature with a view. The property and cottage is a bit outdated, but very authentic. You can reach many great beaches, cliff hiking trails, as well as the very beautiful fishing village of Sesimbra in a short time by car. We also took day trips to Lisbon and Sintra. Host Barbara was extremely helpful, friendly and straightforward. Thank you!

We loved Pedro's place. It is a really nice and cosy house with a typical Alentejo swimming pool, beautiful view, barbecue, garden, and everything you need to have an outstanding weekend. We will be back for sure.

We found a wonderful house that exceeded our expectations. Very well equipped and decorated, located in a very quiet and welcoming place. It's a family and family home. Definitely worth a new visit!

The house was not lacking in detail, very nice and well-kept. The only drawback is the showers, the bathtub downstairs is very small and if you're a little big you can't get through the doors of the shower upstairs, it's even difficult to wash your hair because your elbows get in the way

We were greeted by the lovely Sebina! She went over everything thoroughly in the house, made us feel right at home!! The home was warm and cozy for our entire family! Plenty of space for our children and a beautifully equipped kitchen! Many thanks to Sebina and Lee!!

This place was one of the best airbnbs my friend and I have ever stayed at. We miss this place already! Check-in was easy and everything was so clean. The location was super convenient for our first time in Lisbon to see everything. We wish we could’ve stayed longer and would love to go back! Also a lot of comments about the stairs, but they’re really no problem. But we’re probably used to them since we lived in NYC walk-ups.

Meeting to get the keys was easy and they worked with our changing plans. The place was great for our purposes and think if we come back we would stay again. We were visiting with family near by so we didn’t cook but we saw the kitchen was well equipped. The place was relaxing. Beds very comfortable. The only negative was when you walk in the building it smelled mildewy but the apartment was fine and no traces of a smell! Great decks too!

Exceeded our expectations !! Place is at the center of festivities but in a quiet street . Sleeping not ever a problem . Unit very well organized & feels and looks brand new . Perfect !

It’s really a great apartment and location (train station and restaurants just down the street). I was traveling with a friend and so it was great to each have nice rooms and also have a communal space to hang out. We enjoyed the terrace quite a lot as well. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. It was one of the nicest @irBnB’s I have stayed at. Cipriana also was super, because she let us know the apartment was ready before the scheduled check in so we got a few extra hours on the terrace!

This Airbnb is phenomenal! The views from the home of the ocean and the surroundings are superb. The home itself is full of interesting and impressive art from around the world, and it is stylishly decorated with all the amenities one needs. This home is truly a villa not to be missed. In addition, the area has much to offer— a spa and restaurant within a short walk, plus delightful cafes and restaurants with great views in the surrounding villages. Here you live in the countryside, but are only a 35-minute drive from the magical, historic town of Sintra and only 45 minutes from Lisbon. The coast here is not plagued with lots of tourists. You enjoy the serenity and range of walking and hiking opportunities you have here without crowds. Plus it comes with a large size heated pool at your disposal. We highly recommend this beautiful Airbnb.

We absolutely loved our stay here, it’s clear the host had put a lot of time and love into their house which is why it appealed to us. We were a group of 8 best friends who wanted a relaxing holiday, exploring the local beaches, restaurants, sights and enjoying the pool which is exactly what we got, and more! We particularly loved how spacious the house was and being able to make food together and catch up in the outside dining area and on the rooftop balcony. There was an extensive collection of pans/pots/serving bowls etc which was really useful for a big group. We were only a short taxi ride to the beach where we enjoyed spending time at the beach clubs, and it was also a relatively short taxi journey into Lisbon and Almada. We would definitely recommend!

The place was a surprise with the size and the location. We were able to get to the beach and easily drive to other beach towns to see additional sites.

Elsa is a great Host, just like her incredible villa. From the booking, through the arrival to our departure, we were accompanied with kindness and benevolence throughout this experience. The house is ideal for hosting a large family, or groups. We had an extraordinary stay, in complete privacy, in this spacious and comfortable place. This is a magical place and we are very thankfull that we could make it our home for a long weekend. It was beautiful from the inside and the outside. With cosy corners to sit and read by yourself, or nice bigger tables to eat or chat with the whole group together. The pool, the view, it is even more breath taking then on the pictures.
