Queenies lodge, a stunning getaway, Co Kilkenny

PatrickRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a beautiful place in an idyllic location, this was living the luxury lifestyle. We just loved everything about Queenies, worth every penny with sauna and Pilates studio for the grownups and place space and tree hut for the little ones. Our hosts were fantastic, friendly and helpful beyond expectations and one place I would totally recommend for that wellbeing retreat and escape from the hectic lifestyle of work and home. Just wonderful.

The old barn

WilliamRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Walter was a first class host, he couldn’t do enough for us, we had a lovely peaceful holiday, no neighbours to worry about only a herd of cattle and sheep, the Old Barn is unique it feels like your in the heart of the countryside yet only a few minutes from the local village, there’s a lovely sandy beach also a few minutes away,

The Dairy

ColinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Lovely place. Close to Kilmacthomas and in the countryside. Views of rolling hills on one side and Comeragh mountains on the other. House is on the yard of a farm (enclosed so quite safe for children). Plenty of parking. Host was super helpful and kindly showed our son the cattle being fed. House was very clean, facilities are good. Kitchen has everything you need. Bedrooms are warm and cosy

Tastefully refurbished Cottage on the Greenway

LukRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Mid-June we stayed 10 nights in Lee & Mike's cottage. A very good choice, as it turned out. The cottage has been completely renovated with style using solid materials and all the comforts. We have rarely had a rental cottage that was so completely equipped: kitchen equipment, and importantly, excellent beds. Lee is a friendly hostess who lives on a large sheep farm across the street. Always ready for a chat with good tips, without being pushy. The cottage is located near Durrow Bridge, halfway along the Waterford Greenway between Waterford and Glengarvan. Access to the cycle path is 350 metres from the house. We brought our own bikes and were able to explore the Greenway in both directions without having to complete it right away. This place is an absolute must!

Glen Cottage

NeilRating, 5 stars3 days ago
A beautiful rural setting just minutes away from normal life, a very peaceful stay in a lovely property, very straight forward check in and out. This property is honestly a home from home, traditional cottage feel with a lovely modern twist with all mod cons at hand. Perfect for couples or families alike, with large parking area and garden overlooking the countryside. All you will hear is bird song and silence, will definitely be making a return visit.

The Shed

RhuchaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The place was very nice and private with beautiful surroundings and easy to get into Waterford and Kilkenny town. During our stay we had multiple water disruptions and caused a lot of stress as we were not well informed about it but the host was very accommodating and gave us a refund for the day we were out of water . Overall we had a great time and the place was cozy.
