Best Airbnb stay we have had ! Catherine/Kevin were great at communicating all about the check in and they were super flexible. When we arrived they had a care package for us with cookies and wine and a frozen pizza and a bundle of turf The hot tub was as a great addition. 3 minute walk to the local pub with trad music and great food ! This place is a true gem - we are definitely going to come back !

Had a great few days at the cottage despite the bad weather. It was so cosy and relaxing. Will be back again soon.

Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! I booked this trip for our anniversary,all we wanted was peace and some down time. We got exactly what we were looking for, we had everything we needed at hand. Fabian was very responsive and nothing was a bother. The cottage was immaculate and cosy....just perfect.

I cannot fault our stay at the lakehouse it is a little piece of paradise. Peter was so helpful had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back again!

A lovely stay in Mairead and Hugh’s beautiful cottage! The house is utterly gorgeous – comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen and a lovely, cosy, rustic vibe. The interior decor is stunning with lots of thoughtful touches like the giant claw foot bathtub and the big fluffy pillows. The view from the garden is phenomenal and we spent a lovely evening in the hot tub watching the sun go down! Mairead and Hugh were the perfect hosts – helpful when we needed them but never invasive, and the homemade wheaten bread and jam that was waiting for us was a lovely welcoming touch! All in all a perfect stay and we can’t wait to come back some time.

We had such an amazing stay, we didn't want to leave! Perfect location, close to some of the nicest beaches Donegal has to offer. A stone throw into Dungloe town which had plenty of places to eat/drink. We cooked for ourselves in the cottage, all the supplies we needed were provided. We were able to enjoy our dinner outside one of the evenings. The views Hannah's Cottage offered were just so picturesque. The hot tub was ready 24/7, laying up in it was so serene. The rain was never too far away but that didn't stop us getting into it. Laura even had dressing gowns left for us, handy for getting in and out of the hot tub. The house itself was so homely, cosy and warm. The bed was that comfy it was hard to get out of, but the kids put an end to that. Laura was very friendly & helpful. We didn't need to contact her during our stay as she had explained everything so well and lots of wee helpful frames round the house to keep us right. Hightly recommend Hannah's Cottage. We will be back!

Really Enjoyed The Cotrage ,Nice & Warm,clean and a vert friendly environment...hot tub even was better 😀 relaxed area over looking The very Famous Errigal Mountain..Plenty of Restaurants,Bars,filling stations all near by 1km distance... Really enjoyed our stay so Thank you Moya & Gavin We will be back x

The place was perfect, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. One little criticism would be a little welcome pack of yea coffee sugar and milk would be a nice touch as we arrived late and the local store was closed already

Dorothy’s place was in a great location for us visiting family for a reunion in Enniskillin. Dorothy was flexible with our arrival and communication was friendly and clear. She welcomed us and provided a few details and to tell us she was next door if we needed anything. We never needed a thing and didn’t see her again until checkout but I left comfortable knowing she was close by. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 (parents and 3 kids ages 23, 20 and 18) to have space. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms and kitchen clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor space is beautiful with all the flowers and 2 picnic tables and chairs. We were lucky to get some beautiful weather during our stay to enjoy the lovely views from the house. Dorothy provided many pamphlets of local activities — we hiked the Stairway to Heaven (beautiful but it lives up to its name with a lot of stairs) and some played a round of golf at the Faldo course at Lough Erne. Overall a beautiful few days.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Great for peace and quiet with stunning views of mountains and sea. Very close to lots of places to visit in Donegal. Brian and Siobhan are ideal hosts. They had lots of good recommendations for a range of activities and places to eat. The house has everything and very comfortable. We’d be delighted to go back again and highly recommend it.

This was a beautiful home. everything you needed was there. House was spotless and clean. The views were beautiful from the house. Shop was just down the road so easy for getting the things we needed for staying at the house. We went to a pub which was a bit of a distance for walking but local taxi services were always on hand and local taxi numbers were available at the house on who to contact as well. All in all a beautiful place to stay and I would highly recommend this house and would go back to stay here if visiting Donegal again.

We absolutely loved Paivi’s home, unbeatable location with incredible ocean views and access for beach walking, swimming. The home was super comfy, the sunroom a beautiful way to meet the morning sunshine. Paivi was super helpful and responsive, a great host, thank you June the goat was a joy, we fed her some apple each evening

We loved our stay! The house is very well equipped with everything we needed to feel comfortable. The view is absolutely beautiful and the location is great. The host was very kind and always responded promptly to our messages. We were very satisfied with the experience and would definitely recommend it!

Le gîte de Clare est rustique, authentique et charmant et la région aux alentours est très belle. Pour un moment au calme je recommande et reviendrai volontiers si j'en ai l'occasion.

Beautiful, traditional, homely cottage which was perfect for 2 adults, 2 children and our dog. Weather wasn’t great for us but after a day at the beaches we were able to come back, get the fire lit and relax whilst looking out at the stormy weather. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break.

Laura’s house was warm and modern something that’s important for Christmas stays. House had everything and was well decorated for Christmas which was nice especially for my own daughter. Laura was a pleasant host to communicate with and I would have no hesitation recommending her property. Thanks Laura!

Mary Carpenters Cottage was a magical place to stay. Warm, clean, peaceful countryside location, excellent local pubs & groceries. The host met us in person to explain how everything worked in this unique property & even provided plenty of snacks to welcome us. Even though the cottage was 200+ years old it had all the necessities for a homely stay including watching Netflix in the evening. Highly recommended!

If your looking for the Irish experience Cecil’s cottage is the perfect setting, remote but all you need within a 5 min drive…. Unfortunately we weren’t blessed with the weather but we soon forgot about that when we arrived to a roaring peat stove and a view that you could never tire off… Communication with the family was very prompt and helpful…. If we plan to be in Buncrana in the future, Cecil’s cottage is where we will be….. Thanks to all the family….👏🏻👏🏻

We had a great time during our stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The weather was beautiful and sunny, which made everything even more enjoyable. The location is perfect—very easily accessible and convenient for getting around. Communication with the host was smooth, and everything went super smoothly from check-in to check-out. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

It’s the second time that we stay in this cottage, it is so peaceful and quiet. The cottage has everything that you need and more, it feels like home. We loved it here and spent the days discovering the stunning area and then coming home to a cozy place. We will definitely come back!

Sigrid-just saw John the once who bought us a lottery ticket! (Sadly didn't win:) is truly the hostess with the most amazingly thoughtful mostest. The house is a perfect comfort sanctuary,ideally positioned,beautifully decorated and managed.Myself and young son adored our time there over New Year.Great recommendations from Sigrid and loads to do even when the weather was December patchy. Short hop to Derry, Letterkenny and beyond all a lovely day trip.Buses there if needed.Beds you could get lost in,gorgeous fire and magic pub with pool and such accommodating locals to step into if you fancy some local craic. Post Office shop just there.Cant thank you enough ✨🙏🏽♥️
