Villa vacation rentals in Carpathian Mountains

Accessible location, easy to find, a few minutes from the city center. Cleanliness, order, attention to details. I recommend 10/10

We spent the new year in a group of 5 people. The house exceeded all expectations. There is literally everything from a baking sheet to a coffee maker, from spoons to a food processor. House is very welcoming, well-maintained. There is a cat that can be let in, or you can not let in the house. The sweetest creature to spend this holiday with us. The houses are warm and there is a fireplace that can be melted. It was snowing, which added more beauty to the county. We will definitely come again. Thank You!

Me and my family enjoyed staying in this place so much! Cottage was beautiful, clean, specious, everything we needed was provided. Communication was easy and with no issues. We were all impressed how beautiful the place is. Will definitely go back again. Thank you so much for everything :)

The home was exactly as described. The view was beautiful and the location was central. We were within driving distance to Slovak Paradise, castles, caves, and a nearby American restaurant called Rock Farm. We appreciated the washer/dryer combo since we needed to wash our clothing from our 1+ week trip. Waiting for use upon arrival was a bottle of wine and chocolate - a sweet touch to start our trip.

It was really a beautiful place to stay. The view over the city was breathtaking and the hot tub a dream. We were received very warmly! Thanks very much. ❤️

It was amazing and very fun just one thing I think it should be taken to your attention that there are 10 people and 2 babies in the complex need more towels that will be plentiful or to make sure someone will arrive and do laundry for towels and maybe some cleaning we were on the property in Romania every day was if a house that came to take towels for the laundry and cleaned we felt the feeling of a villa along with a hotel and also another thing we were missing very much from the bathrobes coming out of the pool to wrap up in a towel to go to a nicer villa or shower and in a big time we had a great time and worth coming to the property the hosts are excellent and we had a great time and would recommend to friends and we already sent some to them we loved very much

We truly enjoyed our stay! The locoation of the house is great: located in a beautiful valley, far from the crowd, but with 8 minutes driving time to the large grocery store. Branco was a helpful host. He helped us with ordering an emergency tire changing service for our rental car. It will be great to visit again one day.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. So peaceful with the best view of lake balaton, feels secluded but with everything you could need. Host was very flexible and responsive. For those with small children and limited mobility would be aware that only one bedroom on the first floor and outside because of the nice view there are lots of stairs.

The place was very clean, lots of space for everyone and great outdoor spaces. Location was great and walkable to the old town center and many restaurants. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again if in the area.

A perfect place for a family vacation, spacious, clean and with a lot of thought given to all the little details including spacious rooms, abundant showers, heated pool, hot tub, barbecue, fully equipped kitchen (there are 2 refrigerators), huge garden and beautiful views. The villa really has everything you need for a perfect extended family vacation. A level of equipment and cleanliness similar to a 5-star hotel. Highly recommended The owner of the villa is very kind and very helpful.

Mahir was an amazing host he helped us right from the beginning and we did not initially want to listen to him when he said we should take his transportation that he can schedule for us. After realising that not speaking Bosnian makes it super difficult if you’re not living in the city Center we gladly accepted Mahir’s help so him and his family provided us the transport with 4 cars and it was such a fun weekend. Mahir’s family is super lovely and fun to hang out and talk to :) The airbnb itself was more beautiful than the pictures, the night LED lights all around the pool made it look super cool. I will come back to Bosnia and mostly because of Mahir’s familiy’s guest-friendliness and welcoming family values. We fully enjoyed our stay, everything was spotlessly clean and worked perfectly. Beds were also very very comfortable and the aircons in all the rooms makes it super nice especially on warm summer days. Thank you Mahir & family for everything!!

Amazing! But do note that the house booked on airbnb only has room for 14 people to sleep, you can book the other house or sleep on the sleeping couch in the living room if you are with more.

A group of our friends stayed at Vesna’s lovely house for a night whilst we attended a wedding at a nearby winery. The house was spacious, had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. We enjoyed using the pool and sauna the next morning and the bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Most importantly, Vesna was a fantastic and communicative host - she let us check in early, and even organised taxis for our group. I highly recommend a stay at Vesna’s place and wish we could have stayed longer!

My family and I had a wonderful two-week stay, I could never thank amra and his family enough. From the beginning to the end of our stay, their responsiveness was exceptional. The accommodation is very well furnished, very clean, very quiet. The view was splendid, the pool is supplied with water by a natural stream. Visoko is a warm village, located 45 minutes from Sarajevo by car, the landscape and nature have rejuvenated us both physically and mentally. A real haven of peace. Bosnia and its inhabitants will have marked us forever❤️❤️❤️. I highly recommend to people looking to clear their minds and fill their heads with memories to visit Bosnia, Sarajevo, Mostar, Kravica and other cities, the food is very good, it feels very good and of course I recommend to all air BNB users the sumptuous accommodation of Amra and her family, thank you very much for your warm welcome, don't change. 5🌟

We were very very happy with the choice of this wonderful place! We hosted a bachelorette party here and the bride and all the girls were absolutely thrilled! The hosts were extraordinary, welcoming and extremely kind. Everything was clean, modern, and neat to the smallest details. The tub and pool were impeccably clean and the beautiful and perfectly clean rooms made our stay even better. The location is located in a very quiet area, perfect for relaxation and fun in the same time. We will definitely come back and recommend this place with all our hearts! We had a fantastic stay at Papa’s Hideout. Viktor was an incredible host - he gave us some great recommendations, was extremely helpful and very responsive. The house is great, very secluded and peaceful. You will need to hire a car to get about because of this. There is a small shop 10-15 minutes walk away which is handy though. I would thoroughly recommend staying at Papa’s Hideout if you want to visit Bosnia!
