“We really liked staying at Jess’ place! Jess is a very friendly lady and was very helpful when we arrived. Also the small apartment offered everything we needed and is very well located. It’s only a short walk to the beach and some very nice dining and breakfast spots are just around the corner. Jeffreys Bay is a beautiful small town, we really enjoyed ourselves! Hopefully we can come back one day.”

“The last 6 weeks we have enjoyed our stay in St. Francis Bay very much. The apartment is spacious and well equipped for self-catering. The view from the apartment is really fantastic and the location is extremely quiet. No noise from neighbors or traffic, you only hear the sea. In the period that we were there, there was a lot of wind. In the evening the wind was often so strong that you could not sit on the balcony. The advantage however is that there are no mosquitoes! Although the environment of the pool is unfortunately neglected, it is very nice that you can use this large pool. I enjoyed it every day. Because we staid for a longer period we were glad that we used d the option for cleaning the apartment. Jester did every week a great job! The village is smaller than expected. There are a number of shops, a large supermarket and some nice restaurants within walking distance. St. Francis Bay is ideally suited for long beach walks. By low tide right for our door. But we also walked many times at the Cape starting at Seal Point. Especially walking through the dunes is really fantastic. For golfers, which we are not, it is also a nice place. We have made 2-day trips to Addo and to Tsitsikamma. Absolutely recommended. We also liked the canal cruise. At the start of our stay there were a few technical issues. Vanessa immediately took action on this. Unfortunately we had the experience of a regular cut off from electricity. Vanessa informed us every time the no load shedding was to be expected. Off course it was an inconvenience, but we were in South Africa and not in Western Europe, so no complaints! We have to make one important critical remark. Due to our flight time, we wanted to check out at 12.00 instead of 10.00. We were not happy that, our request was rejected. Even though there were no new guests, we, even after a stay of 6 weeks (!!), had to book and pay an extra day to stay 2 hours longer. We find this lack of flexibility as very customer-unfriendly. We were very disappointed that the rules were applied so strictly.”
