Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cap-Vert

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful stay for his birthday. The house was a peaceful sanctuary just outside of Dakar, almost like stepping into a Moroccan retreat. It was beautifully designed, and the art throughout the space added a unique and inspiring touch. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The skipper service was brilliant, and Nathanael truly went above and beyond to make our trip feel special. Michael’s team made us feel so looked after, it was one of the most relaxing getaways! We made so many amazing memories and have already recommended the place to family, who will be visiting very soon. We honestly can’t wait to go back. Apartment exactly as described. Great for a stay in Dakar with kids, we went to the beach on foot every day and everything was at your fingertips. Very attentive host. Recommended

Our stay at Popenguine was a gem. I loved the location. It is a peaceful and beautiful village. A real place to stop if you want to discover and experience real life in Senegal. See the fishermen leave in the morning and come back, see the sheep get washed, the kids play football on the beach. The real daily life of the Senegalese. The location of the house is exceptional. I would never find a view like that with such proximity to the ocean. Thank you 1000 times to the caretaker Ablaye who was always there for us and who for me is now a friend as well as the driver Ablaye also because they have the same first name who is an exceptional person. We've learned so much from them. Thanks again for your time, kindness and sharing Everything was perfect in the house as well, the cleanliness and meals of Khaddi. Thanks again. I hope to be able to come back but this time with my kids. See you soon Inchalah 😉

A big thank you to Pat and Sophie for their warm welcome! Everything was perfect: the room was cozy and very clean, the pool super nice and well maintained. Special mention to Moussa, the caretaker, always available and very professional. We had a great time, I highly recommend this place!

We had a good time. The pool was nice and clean as well as the house. Apart from the fact that we couldn't get the TV to work, all was good and we'll be back in the future.

The villa del pop, is large welcoming, very well equipped.. Basically, perfect for a stay with family and/or friends. It is well placed, the sea view with sunset/sunrise from the pool, excellent! Delphine is very responsive. PS. Plan to do your shopping for your stay before entering popenguine, no large supermarket on site.

An unforgettable stay in a beautiful Home! Everything was perfect: the hospitality, the comfort, and especially the presence of Alpha, the caretaker, who was exceptional. Always available, smiling and attentive — a real plus for the stay. The beach is only a 10-minute walk away, and the environment is peaceful and pleasant. Shops and restaurants are just a stone's throw away, everything is within easy reach. I recommend this house without a second thought!

We had a lovely stay at this villa. The villa is very well arranged, the garden is beautiful, well maintained and relaxing... Benjamin and Salie are adorable, Benjamin is always available when needed and Salie is radiant. We'll be back:)

We had a great weekend (2 nights) in Popenguine thanks to AirBnB! Next to the beach and the national park (which we enjoyed for a short family hike). Only nuisance: lots and lots of mosquitoes inside the house on arrival! and not enough spray/anti-mosquito products. Remember to bring your sprays ;) Otherwise, excellent value!! To be repeated :)

A big thank you to Gina and Claude, as well as their friendly caretaker Sadji, who offered us a nice welcome in their charming villa. We stayed in a quiet area, in a spacious and well-equipped house, and the children were able to enjoy the very well maintained pool. Sadji was attentive and gave good advice throughout our stay. He was able to arrange late transfers to the airport, as well as a rental car that really made it easy for us to make many visits to the area. It was an unforgettable stay and full of great memories.
