Farmstay vacation rentals in Canton of Bern

My children (7 and 9 years) and I were allowed to spend a weekend in the yurt - and had a great time! We loved the two dogs on the farm and found everything we needed for the weekend. Bathroom and kitchen were clean and equipped with the necessary and even in the yurt it was not cold with fireplace, electric radiator and two hot water bottles despite 6° at night. Communication with Romana was straightforward and prompt, we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

We had a great time, quiet and relaxing. The accommodation is conveniently located for visiting Switzerland about 1 hour/1/30 from major destinations (Bern, Neuchâtel, Lausanne, Montreux). The hosts are very attentive and offer delicious products.

Evelin and Simon made as feel welcome and at home right when when we arrived. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay to come back to after a busy day exploring Switzerland. It was also very nice to see their little farm. The room was cozy and very clean. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Switzerland.

Everything was great, can definitely recommend. Melinda and Philippe are great hosts and very helpful. The view from the apartment and terrace is amazing.

Looking for a quiet place to stay with a certain something, we ended up spending the turn of the year on the Lamahof. Not only our dog Hope was able to enjoy the few days, away from fireworks and fireworks. My husband and I were also able to switch off between wood-burning stoves, country house charm and many llamas and other farm animals. Thank you Karin and Family for the beautiful experience.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Familie Hehlen’s place. The house is set in the most beautiful location - it’s an amazing find. The house was spacious (even with 5 adults and 3 children), very clean and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped and my children loved the play area outside. Check in was informative and Familie Hehlen were really helpful when I had an issue with Airbnb cancelling my stay with a week to go! Communication was quick and responsive. Familie Hehlen, thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful home. I’d love to return one day! I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful cottage of Margareth. The quiet environment with the many children's toys was perfect for our family. Also inside it has everything you need and also a lot of toys for the children. There is a lot to explore in the area. Thank you again Margareth for letting us spend our holidays with you.

Great stay at Michael’s, would love to come back

Suzanne was just so sweet, she made me chees fondue on hearing i want to eat Swiss fondue. She even gave me strawberries at her family farm and made me feel right at home. Her kids are adorable and she is extremely gracious. Love from India Abhy

It was a wonderful village experience in Switzerland. The host is very responsive and friendly. We enjoyed living with cows, Cat and Dog (Luna). The place has perfect view from the windows. The host even offered us fresh cow milk every morning. I would recommend it further.

Dear Sonya and Family, It was just GREAT with you. we were so warmly received. The house was perfect, large, clean and equipped with everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. we stayed there for 2 nights and were able to completely switch off. The kids loved it too. They were allowed everywhere in the barn and Sonya and her family showed them everything and told them a lot about their animals. the hot pot was another highlight for us. it looks exactly like the pictures. I can only recommend it to everyone.

This was our second time staying here, and this time we brought a lot more people with us so they could experience it. The location is perfect, very easily accessible by bus or car, and the views of the surrounding mountains are incredible! It has everything you might need while traveling and offers a unique, unforgettable stay. The host is also very kind and responsive. Highly recommend!

The cozy and clean accommodation corresponded exactly to our expectations. Reduction to the essentials surrounded by impressive nature with numerous hiking and excursion opportunities. Christian & Maria were very friendly. The communication was very good. We highly recommend the little adventure away from superfluous luxury.

This was our second stay at Albrecht’s Chalet. This time was as perfect as the last time. It’s impossible to describe how beautiful the surroundings are. Everything was perfect with checkin. Albrecht responded quickly before and during our stay. Everything was clean and well maintained. The washer and dryer came in very handy. We look forward to booking another stay with Albrecht.

Roland and Martina are amazing folks! They are super friendly and helpful and are always there to answer our questions and provide helpful tips to where we should go. Most importantly, their unit is amazing cozy. Will be back again! 😍

Christine was very helpful and thoughtful in making our stay as pleasant as possible. The home was equipped with activities and toys to keep our little daughter engaged which was a pleasant surprise.

Great place to book if you’ve a car. Loic took good care of us and made us feel right at home when he started talking to us in Spanish. The baby goat was a plus!

Thérèse is a very friendly and welcoming host. The accommodation is very well equipped and warm. The location is perfect for peaceful nights and staying close to the ski resort. We would happily stay again!

The view from the back patio is unbelievable. The little goats next door were entertaining. We enjoyed staying here so much. It had everything we needed and our host was a great communicator. Would highly recommend!
