The cottage was beautiful and peaceful. So close to cafes, restaurants, Woolworths and clothing shops. Conveniently located! Enjoyed the trees outside which housed birds that was lovely to wake up to. Di and Floyd were wonderful hosts and made sure we were comfortable. Loved Floyd’s homemade chilli! Every room was cosy and was so happy that they had nightlights that turns on and off automatically. Very useful for our 4 year old son when he needed to use the bathroom at night. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed having a sauna around the corner and a spa (although we didn’t get to use the spa as we were quite busy). Toddler enjoyed being able to play and run around the property which gave him the same freedom as back home. Would definitely recommend and come back to the cottage! Hopefully, we use the spa next time.

Beautiful cottage, not what we expected from the word “cottage” as it was so spacious inside. Loved being surrounded by nature.

We loved our stay here! Jennifer was kind enough to accommodate an early check-in, after we arrived from a very long flight. We showed up to a fresh sourdough loaf of bread waiting for us (which was delicious!) and some essentials in the fridge, including enough for us to have breakfast the next morning. Really thoughtful. The place was very clean and well appointed. Had all the things we needed in the kitchen to make some good meals. The backyard is lovely. Enjoyed the neighbourhood - had some good food, fun at the beach and playground for the kids. Jennifer was very responsive to all our questions and we were really appreciative of that! Would recommend!

Perfect house and surroundings. Milly and husband went above and beyond, while navigating the challenges of cyclone Alfred. I gifted this experience to my fiancé for his 30th birthday, and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made! It was all we needed! The cottage is absolutely stunning, and even the amazing photos don't do it justice. Nancy was incredibly kind and helpful; communication before our stay was smooth and informative. The space was spotless, and the breathtaking view was the cherry on top (especially when enjoyed from the hot tub). I’m already looking forward to coming back in winter. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and unforgettable getaway!

Jo greeted us on arrival and gave us a walk-through of the cottage. As soon as we entered, it felt like "home". It was spotless and felt like a real beach cottage. She left some bread, milk and butter in the fridge, which was really kind and thoughtful. The location was perfect. We stayed with our two kids and it was such a close walk to the beach. We enjoyed Sutton's Beach, Settlement Cove Lagoon, many walks along Margate Beach and drove further afield to Bribie Island and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. But we could have easily stayed there and relaxed too! Jo and Mandy were very friendly hosts. Great to be able to use the washing machine and Netflix for the kids! Thanks for looking after us. We loved it!

Beautifully renovated cottage. Location is quiet but very close to city. Walkable. Comfortable for one or a family. Space to move. Will return.
