Cabin vacation rentals in Byron Shire Council

It's our second time staying here and both times have been exceptional. Our favourite AirBnb if you want somewhere in the forest and surrounded by tranquil nature. The amenities and facilities are also 10/10 and everything is very comfortable. Could not recommend more highly!

Matt’s place was perfect for a little getaway weekends. Everything was meticulously organized and thought out. The little touches from Matt made the place so cozy. Definitely came back to reality with post-holiday blues.

What a perfect place to stay for a quiet getaway - private, serene and impeccably styled. We could tell the owners had invested into this cabin to offer all that you could want or need and a high quality fit out! We barely wanted to leave and didn’t really need to with a great kitchen setup. The hot tub was a beautiful touch and being in cabin #4 meant it was the most private on the property. The place was spacious yet cosy, and very well equipped. Loved being out of the hustle of Byron and so close to Bangalow. We will absolutely be back we loved it thank you!!

The trailler had all I needed to focus, to get centred and rest during my stay in Byron Bay. It is cool when it has to be and cozy during chill nights. Very comfortable and it fits a couple just perfectly. The whole Village is peaceful and organic. The amenities are easy to find and enough for what I needed. Matty is a good host and always respond my messages since booking to check out! I'll certainly come back when passing by Byron Bay.

We had a great stay, loved the farm tour and recommendation of where to watch the sunrise. Beautiful spot with so many animals.

Glen and Caroline were extremely friendly hosts who made us feel like family. They genuinely cared and helped us out, when needed. their cabin is beautifully peaceful amongst their back yard garden. We loved our stay. We could hear the beach from the cabin, which was a short walk away. Similarly, great restaurants and bakery were only 200m down the road. Wonderful stay! Thank you!

We had a truly lovely and relaxing stay at this beautiful retreat – the perfect escape from the city. Kerry and Barry have created an idyllic place for guests to unwind and reconnect with nature.The property is teeming with wildlife – we spotted wallabies, water hens, ducks, and even caught a 45cm catfish in the lake! The serenity here is incredible. Amy discovered the lake sits at a crisp 20°C after falling in during a paddle-boarding attempt, but fortunately, the 37°C spa was the perfect way to warm up afterwards.Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We’re already looking forward to returning and can’t recommend this retreat highly enough!Thank you again, Kerry and Barry! Great location and tidy

Great place to stay. Location is 10/10, short drive to the town and nice pool. Our cabin was more modern than the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. Only caveat is that you must arrive by 6pm for check in which we weren’t aware until day of, but it all worked out. Would stay again happily!

This place was absolutely amazing! From the moment you drive up the driveway you know you’re in for a good time. Perched upon the rolling greens hills of Byron Bay the first things you notice are the exceptional views. As you enter the property you immediately feel like you are home. It has everything you need to be self contained and was warm and cosy, not to mention the amazing smells of the hand made soaps that radiate through the house. Our host was simply amazing, very kind, friendly & welcoming. If you are looking for accommodation in the region you can’t go past it. Less than 5 mins to Bangalow for your morning coffee, 15 mins to The Pass for a surf and when you are done for the day you come back to the little sanctuary where you get to share the sunset with the cows as it sets behind the hills. We didn’t want to leave this place and neither did our dog but will most definitely be back.

We had a great stay and we could even park out Corvette off the street and under cover.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Broken Head Shed and are already talking about when we can come back. The cabin was everything we hoped for and more. It was peaceful, beautifully styled and surrounded by the most stunning hinterland views. It was the perfect place to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and truly unwind. We loved the thoughtful details, the comfy spaces and how private and relaxing it all felt. You can really tell Emma and Tom have created something special here. The location is also amazing. It feels like a peaceful escape, yet it’s so close to Byron, great cafes, beaches and all the headland hot spots. Super easy to duck out for food or a swim and then return to the serenity of the Shed. Emma was such a kind and helpful host, with so many great local tips. We explored the area (lunch at The Hut was a highlight) but also found it hard to leave the Shed because it was just so lovely. One of the most memorable stays we’ve had.

We loved our stay at Lomah Bliss. The cabin is clean and comfy and the property is beautiful.

We really loved Casa's style: bare timber window and door frames, brushed concrete floor, tiles, naked taps, lots of windows, surrounded by greenery. It was instantly relaxing and quiet and had everything we needed for our short stay. The weather was a little unpredictable so we drove into Byron and the surrounds instead of walking but the location is walkable in sunny weather. Would love to come back!

Russell was a great host. He made sure I had a comfortable stay & went the extra mile to provide some food staples appropriate to my dietary requirements. He also called me the day before I was scheduled to arrive to update me on the floods in the area which could effect my ability to get to his place. He kept me posted with up to date info on the changing conditions which helped me make the decision to keep my plans as they were.

A beautiful place. My family and I had a very special time relaxing in this gorgeous cabin. We had lunch booked at The Farm, a short drive away, and a beautiful spot for food and our kids to play. The fire pit was a hit for the whole family and the kids loved running around the grounds connecting in nature. Highly recommend.

Funky, but comfy peaceful spot, Kerrie was lovely woman, left us alone but was there when needed. Different, unique, not your "laminated" environment. Fairly eco friendly. Very nurturing. Would stay again.
